Mini UKOPS, Day 3 Review and Report
6.30pm - Mini UKOPS 09, £500 Bounty Hunter, 230 entries, missed guarantee by 9%
Day 3 of Mini UKOPS began with a £2.20 Bounty Hunter, which surprisingly fell a little shy of Guarantee, either due to the early start or for seasonal reasons. It really is a bad time of the year for Online Poker, as everyone adjusts to the lower seasonal traffic levels. Later today, I'll be posting on the forum as to reduced Guarantees generally. I'm sure that will be well received by the Usual Suspects. Ish.
Anyway, last nights Mini UKOPS opener went the way of tinytellah, and well deserved it was, too, imo. This player puts in a ton of volume in smallball Bounty Hunters here, and has been for 5 or 6 years. He had a nice UKOPS cash 4 years ago, but this was, as far as I can see, his first UKOPS win. Well done little fella.
Runner-up was GuitarHeer who despite relatively small MTT volume here, already has 4 or 5 wins on his CV. Bit of a Bounty Hunter specialist it seems to me, though I daresay he has other strings to his guitar.
skydude was 3rd, then clemo18, followed by forum regular timeforbed and the amusingly named Jim_D_Mole.
Dollie and Glencoelad both finished close up, whilst amongst the lagqards were HendoLad and Plump Percy. Markycash, fresh from winning the Big UKOPS Leaderboard came back to earth with a bang, finishing 210th.

7.30pm - Mini UKOPS 10, £1,500 Bounty Hunter, 372 entries, beat guarantee by 24%
372 entries for this, a much better effort.
First place went to Jammyfiss1, and this was his first ever UKOPS win, and he was followed home by swordsman and the_buckle.
In 4th was nmongoosez who, if I'm not mistaken, achieved a rare double last year, winning both a Viva Las Vegas and a Punta Cana package here on Sky Poker. Anyone who gets sent to both Las Vegas and Punta Cana in the same year at Sky Poker's expense is a very lucky chap indeed. Wish I ran that good.
fowksey612 was 5th & carravagio 6th, with jordz16 the final table bubble boy.
And in hero to zero news, tinytellah, who won the evening's UKOPS opener, finished plum last this time in 372nd place. The Gods of poker variance do like to remind us who runs the show.
8.30pm - Mini UKOPS 11, £3,000 Bounty Hunter, 357 entries, beat guarantee by 19%
All is well with the world, a great turnout for the evening's UKOPS Main and a really good winner in Itsover4U, aka Danny. This chap has been here less than 2 years but has put a ton of MTT volume in and had plenty of nice results, and in fact this was his 2nd UKOPS win in less than 6 months, as he won UKOPS 01 back in late October. Always polite and respectful on the Forum, too. Top bloke, for sure. And now he has a UKOPS Bracelet, so very well done Danny.
Runner-up was Maintainer, whilst 1Nitro1, who made a final Table in last week's Main UKOPS, was third.
In 5th was SJspanky1, and in cool poker terminology I guess he qualifies as a "hero". I refuse to label anyone a hero for their poker playing efforts, never have and never will, but he's deffo a great player and a top bloke, no doubt about it.
cpfc_2010 was 11th, MilitantG 13th, and Uncle Pommy, bless him, 355th.
Meanwhile, rabdeniro, who promised his wife he would win her a UKOPS bracelet this week, was plum last. Rab will be sleeping in the spare bedroom tonight, methinks.
