    Having said that, no matter how wide the perm was, we would never have had that first winner, so in a way, at least it was a comparatively small outlay.

    Hi Wynne.

    From what I saw you only posted 3 selections.

    The point scoring system only really works properly when everybody selects the requested amount of runners, otherwise the difficult choices can be just left and it wouldn't be fair on the others.

    So in this instance you would have needed to select the requested 10 removals. (Unless there are another 7 posted somewhere that I didn't see.)

    That's how it has been done throughout the trials. Fair enough if you post 10 and one turns out to be a NR, that's different.

    If you just want to post one or two removals, that's fine, I will take notice of them, but they won't be valid for the remover's league table.

    If you do this, please make it clear that they are removals and not selections.

    P.S. You probably did well to miss this week as the leader board is based on "average" points. Hopefully you will be able to do the full quota for the next live one.

    LIVE removers league table updated on opening post. (Please verify your score, I will keep history data going forward)

    Please note, scores are only counted when the full quota of removals are made, which was only Snuffer on Friday, hopefully a better turn out next time. (We will only do this for live runs now)

    Well done Zadoc, great clear round and thx Snuffer for collating.

    We were so close yesterday, a great effort by the team.

    Please double check your scores.

    Also, it would be good to have more people participating in the removals.

    It is a crucial job and it may have been the difference between winning and losing yesterday, who knows?

    Both Honkeytonktennessee and Cernunnos had 1 nap and 1 removal each, they were already both in perms A and B, but I had to drop one in perm C. Unfortunately, as it panned out, I dropped the wrong one. More removal data and I may have gone the other way.

    Those who participated did a great job, which was why we got so close, but more participation would be even better.

    Hi, a message for Vaigret, I know you very kindly double check Phantom NAP's scores for all players. I was wondering if you could do the same for my Removers tables. 

    At the moment I think lots of players scores are going "un-checked" and it's easy for me to make a mistake, especially as the scores are based on the "average" points per selection.

    So an error will ocuur if I get either the number of selection OR points updates wrong.

    Only if you have time.

    Sorry I've not been so active on the REMOVERS front, but sadly I have to do a bit of work at this time of year, and don't get to dedicate enough time to it, and Sunday's tend to be a bit of a lie-in whilst recovering from Saturday's fun night out!!
    Come the Winter and the Jump's racing, I will have more time and it's when I know more of the form off the top of my head, it will be much easier for me to do the Removers.
    I will keep trying to do them when I can. I usually take a couple of days off when the big Flat festivals are on. Goodwood, York etc.
