LOL, In light of recent events and my controlling nature, I was turning a blind eye to that. :=)
Phantom, regarding your number of selections on the "LIVE ONLY" YEARLY LEADERBOARD, on the OP, for some reason I have it as 13, and it can only be 12 at the most.
4 lots of 3 selections. Not sure where I went wrong. Is the net profit correct do you know?
Cheers,
G
P.S. For clarification the 12 horses for this table "should be" the 4 times that you have made three selections, and it will not include the single selection choices as they were not on go-live days.
Had a quick look back through the thread and phantom has had 3 winners (6/4, 5/2 & 8/1) and 1 place from 12 selections with a profit of £3.00. Table looks correct except for the 13 selections and the 9 unplaced should be 8. Posted by Snuffer
Great Snuffer, thank you for tracing it back.
I hoped that was the only error.
Cheers,
G
P.S. I assume that MK's selections total is not a factor of 3 due to a NR?
It's quite a lot of work for me maintaining all these tables, and as I said previously my Poker schedule has been quite severely impacted.
I expected this to start with, so it's OK.
However, I think going forward, unless I can get assistance with maintaining some of the leader board spreadsheets then I will stop producing the weekly one.
The "Weekly" one was more for some short term fun really.
I will still produce the "Monthly" and "Live Only" NAP's leader boards and the "Live Only" Removals, as they are more significant really. (I can also update them in bulk, say 4 days at a time to make it easier)
However, if people really like having the weekly ones, and daily updates, then please post here and we may decide to keep it. However I would appreciate some assistance maintaining the spreadsheets, that being the case.
I did start a thread a couple of days back (link below) requesting some assistance, but no replies unfortunately.
I think you can cut out the daily naps,as there is a lot of work for one person to keeep the tables uptodate,I feel very guilty as I can not offer any assistance to help you.

Don't feel guilty Wynne, you contribute well to all the selection processes, and spreadsheets isn't everyone's cup of tea.
It would be a shame to lose the daily NAP's process altogether I think.
What do others think? Do you enjoy the one selection on non go-live days, or think we should just do the three selections on GO-LIVE days?
I don't mind so much if I can update them in bulk, in my own time, every 4 or 5 days onto the monthly spreadsheet, it's just the daily processes that I am trying to reduce/get help with.

Thanks MAX.
OK, lets keep the DAILY NAP's going then, if no spreadsheet man comes forward and if I'm pushed for time, I will just update the monthly spreadsheet in batches as and when.
Although if there is someone who is happy to keep it up-to-date on a daily basis that would be even better.
i dont mind merging posts together ie 3 days worth of naps but spreadsheets id get confused i reckon. Posted by MICKYBLUE
TY for this Micky.
I tell you what would be really handy.
If every GO-LIVE day we merge onto it the previous one horse days and then I can do all the updates on the GO-LIVE evenings.
How does that sound?
I am not sure if I have explained myself properly or not.
For example , I am up-to-date as things stand atm, so say we next GO-LIVE on 28th May, you'd need to merge 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th together. I can then update that "batch".
If the next GO-LIVE after that was say 3rd June, you'd need to collate 29th, 30th, 31st May and 1st, 2nd and 3rd of June together.
I can then have a process whereby I update all the tables on GO-LIVE days only.
It won't be quite as good as daily updates, but better than losing the one NAP days/process altogether.

yes i think this makes sense to me. only problem I see is if it falls on a weekend like I just had where I worked far to many hours and had no time spare.
Only just catching up with this as I was offline yesterday evening. Thanks Snuffer for checking my scores in the live table. I knew the total profit was right but would have had to check back on the count. I enjoy the NAPs tables, I couldnt commit to a daily update of a spreadsheet but it is something I could do on a weekly basis. Happy to go with the majority as to whether we do it daily or live. In Response to Re: ** JACKPOT SYNDICATE ** NAPS THREAD ** WE NOW MOVE INTO WEEK THREE ** : Hi Phantom. A weekly/ad-hoc basis would be great! Do I have your email address? I could send you the existing spreadsheets. Thanks again for your offer to help. Cheers, G Posted by StayOrGo
Yes you should have email (clue it has phantom in it). We emailed about the creation of the live spreadsheet (efforts on hold on that one at the moment I am afraid)
