So you know all about my recent  cash exploits...

You know all about my DYM exploits from a previous life.

Here's the thing...wouldn't you rather I was here playing poker than simply posting on the forum?

Of course you would it makes good business sense.

You could offer me an incentive to play here again, (which would be cash btw).

So here are a few of my suggestions for you to think about...

For me to: deposit...

1  £10 & receive £10 bonus 

2  £20 & receive £20 bonus 

3  £50 & receive £50 bonus

4  nothing & receive £25 bonus, priority status & free bottle of champagne 

5  any other suggestions?

Now I know I'm going to regret this...

But what do you the other forum members think?

Which of the above should Sky go for?

Deposit offers aren't all that common unless you're opening a new account. Besides, Poker players are notoriously disloyal. If site X has softer games, better rake, better game selection, better rakeback then they're going to move site as soon as they've played through your bonus.

This is particularly true of reg grinders who will almost always leave the site as soon as they've cleared their bonus, and damage the ecology of the site in the process.

Sites nowadays are far more interested in attracting the betting/bingo/casino punters. Why offer a competent reg a bonus that equates to 40% rakeback on top of the 30% rakeback and have him take money off your weaker players for a month before disappearing, when you can send someone a -EV casino reload offer instead - Particularly as casino punters are more loyal to a brand when all sites have mostly the same range of slots and table games anyway.

For what it's worth - Get onto live chat and see if they have any deposit offers they can give you. I doubt they'll give you anything out of this world, if they even have anything at all, but costs nothing to ask.

So instead of asking what they can do for you, perhaps you should be begging Sky not to be forum banned?

If you're playing the smallest stakes there are likely better deals on other sites. I would try and build your roll to £400 and then come back to sky at £20nl. If you want some suggestions send me a pm

This is a genuine request to Sky btw, but I'm not holding my breath regarding a positive outcome...

Apologies for not replying before, I had assumed this was a tongue-in-cheek question, rather than a serious one. The correct place to ask this question is Customer Care, not the Forum.  

I most certainly don't intend to be rude to any Customer, big or small, but the straight answer to your question is obviously "no", Sky Poker won't be making any offers to you that they do not make to every other player. That does not, I'm sure, require any explanation.

It does strike me, & others, as rather unusual that you feel comfortable with using the Forum facilities here rather than the Forum of the site you now play on, but there are no rules against it as such, & you are welcome to continue so long as you post in a compliant manner. I would ask you to bear in mind though that this Forum is provided by Sky Poker to facilitate Sky Poker players to have somewhere to chat and chill - it's part of the value equation that Sky Poker offer players.

You may well find a site that offers you these deposit bonuses (but remember, you need to "play through" them, & that takes some doing at micro stakes), but will they have a Forum set up for your enjoyment & use, & will someone from the Site take the trouble to answer your questions? These things are all part of the value equation.

Yes it probably isn't PC of me using this forum to divulge my activities elsewhere, and if it has been/is upsetting people here I apologise to them, as this was never my intention to do so. I only wanted to inform my old friends here what I had been up to since I stopped playing Dym's a couple of years ago now.

Still, having said that, we are all grown ups here,(with the odd exception obviously:) & one has the choice as to read my posts or not,

So if you Don't like them, don't read them comes to mind.

Surely if they were so bad & offensive wouldn't I have been chat banned by now?

(That would make at least 2 or 3 people happy today anyway, lol)

Anyway, I digress. 

Should I continue? That is the question.

Ok, so I've played a lot here in the past & therefore have some allegiance with Sky Poker, & I thought that there might be a small chance of my returning here to play cash again, with a little incentive perhaps, but as that isn't going to be forthcoming it will be their loss, as I shall continue playing elsewhere.
