Multiple Sounds playing all at once (with single table open)
I started up a single table last night (Sat 27/5) and I noticed pretty quickly within say 30 secs or so that there were multiple sounds going off - I wondered if I had also opened other tables - I hadn't (I was planning to play two tables as per norm for me) so I close everything down and exited chrome which i have always used & previously without issues.
I re-opened again to find same thing happening. Only way to calm things down to turn chip & card sounds off.
Anyone else got this issue?

Hi Gary,
It's a "Chrome" issue I believe.
Try using Firefox or IE, I understand that solves it.
See this thread, HERE
I'll pass this Upstairs again, & if I hear anything back I'll let you know.
Apologies to those affected.
[QUOTE]Hi all, we have our top tech guys trying to resolve this and it sounds like they have figured out what caused the problem so hopefully will be an easy fix.

Smooth.
Humm. When I said on the other thread, “All OK on Explorer”, I should have added, “relatively”. So when you said it was going to be an easy fix on Chrome, you had me relieved and almost believing you for a teeny weeny moment...
But no, come this grey and dreary Wednesday morning Chrome is awash with a strange cacophony of tinkles, beeps and dings that again forces me back across the void toward the twisting downward spiral of death that is IE/Edge. It is here that the evil magicians dwell, shutting down tables with scant regard for my £3.00 (+ £0.30), opening the same table multiple times just because they can and flashing my screen on and off with the gay abandon of a wailing banshee on acid.
And then there are the occasional prolonged silences which seems to mock me for the hell of it and where, if you listen closely enough, you think you can sometimes catch the dulcet tones of Tikay and Richard, fading in and out from the crackly distant soundtrack of a long gone, but much loved, TV show; and then even this gentle memory is ripped away with a loud ear-splitting Buzz...
last night one table flickered uncontrollably. odd.
... and many times over the past month or so, i have heard phantom sounds as if there is a second table open.
I actually got quite used to it after a while lol
Randomly the other day the sound all came back, and not just to normal. If I put a song on via Youtube it now sounds like I am at a concert, with the volume only set at a third. It has never been that high quality on this laptop and I have no idea how this happened. If I dare go above half of the volume capacity my headphones start to physically bounce on my ears.
Any truth to my working theory that a Sky Tech person went the extra mile, broke into my house during the night, installed the Rolls Royce of souncards on my laptop and then quietly left... simply to make sure that these issues would be resolved for me?
That truly would be some exceptional customer service!
If it wasn't this then I am completely stumped as to how I now appear to have sound quality on my old laptop and £15 headphones that would rival an extremely expensive set-up.
