SPT - Manchester 235 Casino

Hi,

I played live for the first time last night (well more like the early hours of this morning) at the Manchester 235 Casino where the first leg of the Sky Poker Tour is going to be held. At the table I was sat at I mentioned about the SPT being held there to the other 7 people at the table, but none of them were aware of the event and there is no advertising up in the venue.

Is the SPT just aimed at Sky Poker players? Just wondered as seems like a good opportunity to attract players that already play at Manchester 235 to Sky Poker by advertising the event in their casino. Is their a plan to advertise the event at the casino or just promote it through the Sky Poker site?

    The 235 regulars will be aware of it shortly.

    In the coming weeks the casino will receive the merchandise and the branding. There will be players qualifying for the SPT in the 235 so it will not be 100% Sky Poker players.
