Tote Scoop 6

edited June 2017 in Betting Chat

totescoop6 predicted to reach £650,000!

With £155,905 in the win fund accompanied by £388,839 in the bonus pot, Saturday’s totescoop6 could be worth £650,000 to a single winner if they can successfully navigate all six legs and find the winner of next weekend’s bonus race.

The win fund hasn’t been landed since mid-May and the races that make up tomorrow’s bet are split between two venues, with Haydock and Newmarket the meetings for Scoop6 players to focus on.

totepool spokesman Andrew Griffiths said: “The Scoop6 pools are on the rise after three rollovers and we reckon a single winner could pocket close to £650,000.”

The first six races from Newmarket make up the totejackpot on Saturday, while the John Sunley Memorial Handicap (3:40 Newmarket) will be the totetrifecta rollover race.

    Scoop6 Preview – June 10th

    2:20 Haydock
A tough sprint handicap to open our estimated £650,000 Scoop6 this afternoon but quality does run deep!
Full Intention represents the local stable of Tom Dascombe and he has good course form at Haydock with a length second last time out behind El Hombre albeit on a much sounder surface. The soft ground may not work in his favour however there are few jockeys that ride Haydock better than Richard Kingscote so he is an option. Pennsylvania Dutch (4) is a course and distance winner and our selection for this race. William Haggas is in tremendous form and does particularly well when travelling his horses North from Newmarket. Now another year older we are expecting him to have grown plenty and the form of that win has worked out reasonably well. Ben Curtis takes the ride and much like the trainer is in good form. The only worry for this would be that he has to give 10lbs to his nearest rival. Fantasy Keeper is likely to be the choice of many due to the trainer and jockey combination. A winner at Nottingham last month he looks unexposed off a mark of 71, he does however have to shoulder a 6lb penalty for that and we think that may slow him down a tad. Maakaasib rates the only other danger as he is a winner over the distance.

    2:30 Newmarket
Juanito Chico worked his way into the winner’s enclosure at Epsom last weekend and William Jarvis is banking on his charge to deal with the 7lb rise given to him. The step down in trip and the deployment of a hood has worked a treat for the three year old and he seems to be getting on very well with Silvestre De Sousa meaning he stands a good chance. Jim Crowley abandons his retained owners runner Ejaaby to ride Thomas Cranmer for Mark Johnston and that is well worth taking note of as is Martin Dwyer’s ride on the John Gosden trained Parfait. Omran (2) absolutely bolted up at Newcastle and we are hoping he can do the same again this time over the Rowley Mile. Frankie Dettori takes over the ride this time and that is a big tick in the box for our selection, it has been a quiet time for Marco Botti who has saddled very few runners this year but that does not mean he is to be dismissed. To see this horse runa gain within three weeks must mean that Marco like where he is at and we are happy to choose him in our Scoop6. Six Strings makes the trip south for Richard Fahey and they very rarely come away empty handed however this is a big step up from his run on the AW last time.

    2:55 Haydock
A wide open handicap that could be the make or break leg in your Scoop6!
Holiday Magic is out again quickly for Mick Easterby after putting in a much better performance over a shorter distance at Epsom last time out. Ryan Moore takes the reigns for this race and if he can reproduce the run from the Victoria Cup at Ascot he looks a big danger to his rivals. Northgate Lad (5) has been plying his tarde in better company this year and a drop back in this could be exactly what he needs. His recent run on soft ground at York showed that he is able to handle the likely poor surface and horses in behind that day have since run very well at Espom. A further look at his form would likely put plenty off with his last win coming in June 2015 but we are giving him one last chance. Eccleston and Snap Shots renewal rivalries from Ripon earlier this week, we would expect the former to come out on top again. Handsome Dude and Toofi could also run good races.

    3:05 Newmarket
Two drink themed runners take our interest in another competitive handicap for leg 4.
Gin In The Inn was unlucky not to make it a quick hat-trick at Chester on his last run but backers will not be dismayed by that and with two wins under his belt already this season we would expect him to go close under Frankie. Boy In The Bar found the winning feeling once again at Goodwood on his last run and his form at Newmarket isn’t too shabby either. Ian Williams has worked wonders with this horse and once again relies on the ever improving Josie Gordon. Al Qahwa (3) kept up the tradition of first time out winners for David O’Meara at York just over three weeks ago and he is our selection. The northern trainer is a master of getting more from horses after they move to his yard and whilst he has been given a high enough mark of 98 by the handicapper he may be better than that and could quite easily perform on much bigger stages than this over the course of this year. Scorching Heat and Culturati are two others to take note of on the basis of their stables and connections.

    3:30 Haydock
Bateel makes the long trip from Chantilly in France to take in this Group 3 race. Francis Graffard has had a great start to his season over the channel and to see him bring a horse over for this is a tip in itself. Richard Kingscote gets the leg up and a look to the form book shows that she was second in a race on this level. This is only her second run since moving from David Simcock so more can be expected. The aforementioned trainer saddles Chinoiseries and she will have to settle better if she is to play a part here and that is the likely reason for the hood. Ajman Princess is the talking horse of the race and rightly so after her run at Royal Ascot last year and two very easy wins so far this year the latest coming at Goodwood just over a month ago. The only worry for this horse comes in the form of the softer ground and we are going to take Laganore (6) to overturn the jolly. A consistent performer at Group and Listed level she makes the trip from Ireland for the always shrewd Tony Martin. Her two runs in 2017 have seen her beaten by Dahlia winner Somehow and Turret Rocks. They are two of the best fillies in Ireland and if she can replicate the form of that Victor McCalmont run we expect her to be right up there at the business end of the race. If you are looking for a negative then the step up in trip could be one however the trainer will have her ready. Dubka is worth a mention for Sir Michael Stoute and Ryan Moore however she will have to improve leaps and bounds to turn the form around with Ajman Princess.

    3:40 Newmarket
The final leg on your quest to Scoop6 glory maybe?
Very few of the horses engaged in this race have run over the distance so this could be a learning curve for plenty of them but not our selection. Jaameh (9) has been given a 7lb rise for his win at Chester and whilst that looks a lot we think he has plenty still up his sleeve to go on and win this race. Mark Johnston steps his charge up in class for this but it could easily be his level and a rating of 93 may under estimate him a tad. Cape Cova is an interesting runner for John Gosden and Tom Queally. The blinkers are put back on after a below par fourth last time out when he never really got going. A return to better might also benefit him so he rates a challenger to our selection. Lord Yeats has been walloped by the handicapper going up 11lbs for his win at York recently. The son of Yeats should have absolutely no issues with the trip and it could even be his best going forward. Rated a few pounds higher than our selection the weight could tell and he has to defy his highest ever rating if he is to win this. Hot Beat and Amazing Red take interest outside of the top of the market and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the latter of the two listed to improve a lot here.

    Single line Scoop6:
    Leg 1 – Pennsylvania Dutch (4)
    Leg 2 – Omran (2)
    Leg 3 – Northgate Lad (5)
    Leg 4 – Al Qahwa (3)
    Leg 5 – Laganore (6)
    Leg 6 – Jaameh (9)
