    595813.14 units in on leg1 of placepot with a pool of £434,944. 

    we lost over half of units with the outsider placing, 235409.49 units left.

    all 3 of our perms savely over line with perm c doubling through.

    Yes, it's going to be a tricky affair the next one.

    The cavalry charge of the Hunt Cup!

    Most of our coverage is in the low drawn runners, so lets hope that it isn't a high draw fest, although clearly that's a concern.

    Also every favourite has either won or been placed, so we'd need a couple of favourites beat ideally, although first priority is to try not to bust.

    Not a great result really after the start. It will be quite a big loss over all.

    Shame we didn't anticipate fully the draw bias, but hopefully we can use that to an advantage tomorrow.

    Ironically if we were still in PERM A and/or C we double up in the last leg in both of those, but no double up in perm B. Makes all the difference, another near miss really.

    Anyhow, we got it for £1.20, even if just one of our selections in leg 5 in perm A and Perm C came it, it would have meant we'd have it for £6, so as I said, a near miss.

    PLACEPOT paid £156.90 and we got it for £1.20 in PERM B so we received £188.28 back.

    I expect the draw bias to be similar tomorrow although we do need to keep an eye on where they water, as sometimes they try to balance it, however in big fields I still expect a low draw to be a dis-advantage.

    It's good that there is a bias, as it can give an edge especially in bets like the Placepot.

    Shame we noticed after the fact for today, but onwards to tomorrow now.

    Definitely watching the morning show on ITV4 at 10am before placing bets.
