I know, it's like a bear pit in there. Thankfully, in order to preserve my anonymity I broke into my neighbour's house and used their computer, so that my activities couldn't be traced. I'll pass your comments on to them.

Doing a Prague/Berlin combo trip first weekend in 2018, and myself and the boss shall be using the train to travel between the 2. Very nice journey by all accounts, and the seat61 website (I'm sure Tikay is very familiar with it) gives the route and its scenery a glowing write up.

Something strangely satisfying about travelling medium/long distances by train, though I draw the line at ever spending 72 hours on one ever again.

Both trips sound great. Picked up a Bill Bryson book for 50p the other day outside a charity shop where he describes swanning around Europe - often on a train. He starts in Norway, right at the top of it. 

It's (a) whetted my appetite for swanning around Europe on a train, too and (b) made me want to give another couple of his books a whirl. Really breezy, funny, informative and a pleasant antidote to In Cold Blood which I was reading on the side. 

If either of you want to read it, I'll send it to you - p&p inc.

What a splendid thing to read - thanks, dude. Not seen you on the cash tables for some time, but perhaps we're playing at wildly different hours...

As for the Trump stuff, my morals got in the way, otherwise there was a good chance I would have worked on that campaign. Can tell you more if you/I make it to Manchester SPT and are interested in hearing more - I have to be somewhat clandestine on a public forum. But, yes, the ending of that vid is dead Trumpy.
