As you know, Compliance is a major headache for us, & without permission, we cannot link real names to aliases. Though if you had the time & inclination, you could work it out.

Anyway, the 4 players have all agreed to a "reveal" of their real names.

Even better, FCHD - what a Boss he is - has done a full analysis of all 4 Tables.

This will aid our players immensely, & Mr Channing is also perusing FCHD's work to see if he can add anything.

I'm going to write to Barny now & give him the go-ahead to post the results of his research into the Tables our 4 guys are on tomorrow.

As Tikay said, we had to get the necessary permission from the players involved to post information where Sky players who are normally only known by their alias have their real names revealed. Well thanks to all 4 involved, so here is the starting tables for Day 2B for all four. Chip stacks are rounded to the nearest thousand to keep things simple

    Table Amazon 149
1 Jack Ellwood (GBR) 76K. Has a third of a million dollars in Hendon Mob cashes, but nothing since Jan 2015. Best was $71K for a DTD Monte Carlo in 2010 losing heads up to Fraser Bellamy. 7 lifetime WSOP cashes, only one over $10K
2 Gareth Smith (GBR) 52K Our hero I presume
3 Yiming Li (CHN) 91K. An American by the same name has two cashes, by far the biggest of which was $15K at a WPT in August 2015
4 Charles Wickam (USA) 26K No Hendon Mob record
5 Simon Cazal (USA) 50K. No record, but a French player of the same name has one cash, $3037 in a small event in France 12 months ago
6 Serge Chechin (FRA) 230K Lots of cashes (up to $27K) around Europe since 2009, but nothing in the US at all.
7 Vito Lagani (CAN) 16K No Hendon Mob record
8 Vi Khoa Duong (CHN) 93K Probably the Vietnamese player on Hendon Mob, cashed the Giant for a whopping $616 and Rio Deepstack for $854 1st July. Best win $17K in a circuit event in Lake Tahoe last November, also has cashes in Philippines and Cambodia
9 Kunal Patel (USA) 69K Nearly a million in live cashes and inside the top 500 of GPI. Cashed ME in 2013 & 2014. Won over $200K in a Florida reservation casino event last September.

    Table Amazon 19
1 Rich Rice (USA) 68K. Live MTT regular with Hendon Mob cashes all the way back to 1990. Best cash is $51K for a WSOP FT in 2010, almost equalled that in WPT $10K event in February and cashed for a more modest $2721 in this years seniors event
2 Christopher Vitch (USA) 63K. Won his second bracelet last week by beating Benny Glaser heads-up taking him to almost a million live cash. Master of mixed games, hasn't played much live NLH recently as far as I can see
3 David Boggon (GBR) 95K No Hendon Mob page. Yet. Hopefully will have one within a few days.
4 Aviad Regav (ISR) 87K No Hendon Mob page, hopefully he won't have one within a few days
5 Raymond Chaplin (USA) 17K As per Regav.
6 Andrew Kelsall (USA) 99K. Does have a Hendon Mob page and a good one at that. Nearly a million in cashes, including winning a tounament for $124K in Tampa in 2014. 2 FTs this series (events 48 & 59) for $100K between them, and 7 other smaller cashes too.
7 James Carr (USA) 40K. More at home on the Heartland Tour or the Mid-Stakes Poker Tour where most of his cashes have come. Did play a UKIPT in Ireland in 2012 when he cashed for a whole €275.
8 Randolph Pisane (USA) 73K. Just two recorded cashes, $1181 in 2009 and $5818 in 2013, both in Vegas but not WSOP.
9 Paul Cukier (CRC) 23K. 25th in Costa Rican all time money list, total cashes of $61K include 1 WSOP cash ($4043 in 2012) and a best of nearly $30K in a LAPT in Panama in May 2017.

    Table Amazon 111
Virtually All-American table with no huge stacks.
1 Andrew Martinez (USA) 54K Just 3 small cashes 2009-15, total of $3630
2 C Thomas Sego (USA) 43K Just one cash, but a big one for $35K in a $5K event at the Palazzo in 2012.
3 Paul Sexton (USA) 43K Two Paul Sextons, but one from California and the other from Minnesota and this one's from just up the road in Henderson. The Cali one's been cashing in WSOP since 2005.
4 Seth Thomsen (USA) 26K A $205 cash in a Rio Deepstack three days ago is his first recorded cash since 2011. 167th in 2009 ME.
5 Steven Blomberg (USA) 86K Total $40K cashes, several on WSOP circuit but only real WSOP cashes were in 2014 & 2015 Seniors events.
6 Andrew Burt (GBR) 9K Gloss over him I think
7 Jeffrey Colpitts (USA) 62K Frequent casher, but not in big events (only 2 of his many cashes have come in event with 4-figure buyins). FT'ed an event a Binions a fortnight ago for a nice $11K
8 Ronald Sewell (USA) 50K Another one who has Seniors form, he's been picking up cashes at the WSOP for a decade. Cashed this time around in Events 20, 50 & 60, collected a 6-figure score at a WSOP Circuit event in Hammond last Oct (finished 4th behind Dylan Linde)
9 Nicholas Pentimone (USA) 26K No match on Hendon Mob.

    Table Amazon 90
1 Stephen Brown (USA) 85K There are 3 Stephen Brown's from the US in Hendon Mob, I'm not sure either of them is our man so can't be of too much help here
2 Ola Amundsgard (NOR) 21K 185K in live cashes, but just the one this year, 57th in the $10K PLO. Several of his older cashes are also in 10K events ($ or €) so he won't be fazed by the big buy in
3 Ray Pulford (USA) 68K Local player, all his cashes are in Vegas. Two decent runs in events so far this year (10th place in $1500 Limit HE), FT Casino Employees event in 2012.
4 Aaron Overton (USA) 77K Nearly 800K of live earnings, almost a third of that in a WPT at Borgata 3 years ago. 3 cashes in $1500 events this WSOP including top 100 of Millionaire Maker
5 Bruno Lopes (FRA) 15K EPT/WPT semi-regular, scores back to 2008 totalling just over a million dollars. Only WSOP cash this year was $2915 in Event 66 but cashed what was formerly the EPT Grand Final a couple of months ago
6 Edward Swales (GBR) 38K No need to say much here
7 Chase Rosten (USA) 85K No Hendon Mob record
8 Trent Schuler (USA) 110K No Hendon Mob record
9 Bob Velthuis (USA) 188K Hendon Mob have a Dutch Bob Velthuis with just the one cash, in a Rio Daily Deepstack a week ago

Thanks to the Hendon Mob Database for a lot of the information, and the very best of luck to all the Sky players for Day 2 and (hopefully) beyond

If anyone else has anything to add, or an corrections to make, please feel free to do so.

Massive respect to Barny for this, that's a great piece of work.

Sam & or I will make sure our 4 guys see it.

I've passed Barny's notes to Neil Channing, too, as he may be able to add something, as he knows so many players personally.

    Tremendous effort Barny, thank you.

PS, Pedant alert - our guys are playing Day 2B, not 2A as the thread title indicates, the players from all three Day 1s are segregated tomorrow. Days 2A & B start at 11am Vegas (7pm here), Day 2C one hour later (because they will be playing until the early hours tonight/tomorrow morning.

I need to be brave to argue with THE MAN, but are you sure about that, Barny?

    The Structure Sheet says;

"Day 2A and 2B: Tuesday, July 11, 2017: Remaining players from Day 1A Remaining players from Day 1B (play separate from 1A) 11:00 a.m. Restart (Live on ESPN 5-8pm) Play 5 levels 20-min breaks after every level 90-min break after Level 9 (≈ 8:00 p.m.)

Day 2C:  Wednesday, July 12, 2017: Remaining players from Day 1C Special 12:00 noon Restart (Live on ESPN 5-7pm) Play 5 levels 20-min breaks every level 90-min break after Level 8 (≈ 5:40 p.m.)  "

Actually, I am partly wrong - Tuesday is Days 2A & 2B, & they are kept sepaate, as I noted, and they both start at 11am Tuesday.

Day 2C is Wednesday at Noon, not Tuesday, surely?

    edited July 2017
Apologies Tikay, yes Day 2C is Wednesday. This makes even less sense for that day to be starting an hour later than Day 2A/B. I've obviously been reading too much 2+2 where there was much moaning about Day 2 and later starting at 11:00am.

    edited July 2017

    Thanks Barny.

I genuinely have no idea why Wednesday has been chosen for a Noon start.

Most odd, on the face of it, but I expect there is a good reason.

    Exactly that.

If it does not suit us, or we don't understand "why", that's always the reason.

PS - met your pal CPFC2010 last night - what a smashing fella he is.

Good morning all. Slightly overcast this morning, & a balmy 36C.

Very big day today, as our 4 Day 1B qualifiers in the Main Event all play, starting at 11am (7pm UK).

    To remind you of who they are, & their stacks;

    Tedson - 37,700

    Jiggawhat - 8,700

    GSmith13 - 51,600

    Boggo - 95,200

Also on the agenda today, the 40 sidey qualifiers are all meeting up at The Rio at 3pm for a group photo, after which I believe an open top bus tour is on the cards.

It's possible that 1 or 2 of them will play today's Day 1A of the Little One Drop, which kicks off at 3pm (11pm UK). If so, we'll do a separate thread so as to avoid getting all confused. Some of our readers are quite old, & easily confused.

And in welcome news, I MAY have an assistant today - Markycrash.

If so, he'll be my legs & eyes. However, we cant expect him to dress as well as me, he's a Scot.

The Noon Start on Wednesday Mystery - solved.

I spoke with the WSOP suits a to why a Noon start on Wednesday.

It's due to the great God of TV, ESPN, as they needed to schedule coverage to coincide with prime-time viewing on Eastern Time.

Who'd have thought? They had thought about it after all, rather than just doing it on a whim.

I took a bunch of photos last night at the Drinks thing, & will post a few of them later when things are a bit quieter.

Play here starts in 30 minutes, so I need to meet our players, take some photos & stuff. And brief my Assistant on what he has to do.

Have also got one eye on the Tennis, have backed Konta @ 66/1, & it is currently one set apiece. Am also on Rybarikova at 500/1, she leads by one set, but play is suspended. Not doing my ticker any good at all. Trying to find a positive, if they both get beat, at least I won't lose those particular betting accounts. ;)

Strictly speaking not related to Day 2A/B, but Neil's table for tomorrow

    Day 2C
    Table Amazon 102
1 Jon Hoellein (USA) 174K. $316K in live earnings but it's taken him 16 years to do that. 176th in 2005 Main, 2 cashes this series including $22K for 29th in the $10K PLO
2 William Steffin (USA) 18K. There are 2 William Steffin's in Hendon Mob and they could well be the same person, with over 50 cashes to his name but only 3 small ones at the WSOP. Mostly plays $200-300 tournaments
3 Jeffrey Cvetezar (USA) 32K. There's only one Jeffrey Cvetezar (sing it with me) and he has only one recorded cash, $16007 for 863 in last year's Main Event.
4 Bernard Lee (USA) 102K. A different kettle of fish altogether. Over 2 million in live cashes dating back the 2005 Main when he finished 13th for $400K. Also cashed in main in 2010 & 2012. Was close to getting his first bracelet a month ago when losing heads-up to Frank Kassela in Event 13 (2-7 lowball draw)
5 Derrick Brown (USA) 41K. 3 live cashes for between $2600 & $3600. Most recent was 7th in a Rio Deepstack at the start of June.
6 Neil Channing (GBR) 15K. Current Sky Poker Ambassador. Future WSOP ME winner.
7 Ryan Hartmann (USA) 72K. Nearly 100 live cashes since 2005 for a total of almost $800K. 3 cashes this WSOP. Biggest cash is $145K at a WPT in 2012, finished third to Noah Schwartz and Byron Kaverman. Never cashed ME.
8 Haresh Jethani (USA) 73K. 1 cash in 2011 WSOP, 2 in 2016 WSOP and 1 so far this year (263rd in the Marathon for $3934). Outside that just one cash, $10K in a WSOP Circuit event 5 years ago, so probably plays very few live MTTs
9 Angie Gelinas (CAN) 178K. Biggest stack at the table, 11 lifetime cashes over 10 years, the biggest being $17K for 578th in the 2015 ME. No other WSOP cashes. FT'd a small ($250) Ladies event at the Orleans a week ago for nearly $3K.
