    Well the PERM C semi-banker came through, but we are only on two horses in the 5th LEG.

    Namely Cernunnos and Play The Ace.

    I would really like Honkytonk Tennessee, Set List and Dananndy in too as they were all in PERM's A and B.

    However, still a chance.

    Real shame.

    Cernunnos, Play The Ace. and Honkytonk Tennessee all ran against each other in their previous race.

    I wanted to see the video to see how well Cernunnos was going when brought down, but the video wouldn't load.

    The above three were the principles in all the perms. Very unfortuante to not have Honkytonk Tenessee in PERM C, as it was in both the others and I so nearly put it in all three. (may have had it instead of Cernunnos if video was available)

    Anyhow, unfortuantely it's all history now and will go down as another near miss.

    Both Cernunnos and Honkytonk Tennessee had one removal and one NAP, but at the time of bet placement Cernunnos was backed into 9/2 and Honkytonk was 11/2, although in the end it was Honkytonk who was backed the most and Cernunnos ran a stinker.

    It's a very fine line between all or nothing with these bets and every decision is crucial. Hopefully we will get it to fall right in the not to distant future.

    Good effort all who participated.

    Dear Sire won the last, so five 1sts and a 2nd.

    Dear Sir was our banker horse over Rebel Yeats in perm A.

    Had we had Dear Sire as the banker in perm C, for sure we'd have had room for Honkeytonkteneessee.

    Such a shame when we get the difficult ones, but don't have a horse that wins, ending up as joint favourite in the right perm.

    I do think our perm strategy is OK, so not blaming that. If we only had one perm it wouldn't give us room for horses like TAXMEIFYOU CAN, I just think we've had some tough breaks recently.

    We are doing a lot right I think, which is why we often get very close.

    We were a smidgen away from £5K today, but unfortuantely, there is no runner's up prize with this bet. :=(
