SPT Manchester - 7 days to go. AND........

In a deliberate policy change from previous SPT events, the Poker Team will all be playing SPT Manchester.

So that's James, Kirsty, Mark, Sam, Mr Ambo & myself.
 
Day 1A - Kirsty, Mark, Mr Ambo & me. 

Day 1B - Sam, James, Mr Ambo. 

Day2 - well that depends if any of the above survive Day 1. Which is highly unlikely.

    Went to the casino (235) last night as they were holding a satellite, 2 players guarenteed, guess what - I qualified so I will be there on the Friday, better not be on my table Mr K!

    Hi Paige

    In the good old SPT days they used to run a Drem Team competition, where you could pick 5 players and you were awarded points for their finishing places etc, not sure if anything similar will be run this time

    The thinking needs to change here. There is no 'they'. Businesses and organisations are just a collection of people, the power to change or to do lies with people. Interestingly in this case, a forum member ran the Fantasy SPT. I remember Simon, Slykllist(?!) running a few, not sure if there were predecessors. We don't need to wait for others to run things we would like in place. Either do it ourselves, or find the people best placed to do it and appeal to them for help.

    Sorry if that comes across as a bit short, I've been on a course :) See you all next week.

    As an aside, the amount of Russians who now play PLO & PLO8 is amazing, & in Vegas this year, most of the PLO8 cash tables included at least 4 or 5 Russians. Loads of them played all the PLO & PLO8 MTT's, too. Fiercely aggressive so & so's, but once you get them chatting, good fun.
