Haven't much time but I'll have a go at a few to help.

DoubleStack = All players start with double the normal amount of chips.(2x2000=4000)
Sleepstack/Deepstack= As in Tikays sleepstack is a doublestack or bigger (5000 chips) with a slow blindstructure.
Primo = The premier tournament of the week (biggest pool of money)
Open = Open premier tournament with 2000 starting chips. Can't hang about in these.
Velocity = Fast and furious tournament.
Bounty Hunter= Fast moving where each time a player is eliminated part of his head value is added to the eliminating player's head value and part to his prizemoney.

If you're new to poker I would recommend any of the deepstacks as there are usually some very good players in these and the skill factor is higher. The way for any novice to learn how to play the game is to play and watch skilled players. The faster tournaments are more luck dependent and require a different skill set to negotiate. If you're just learning then learn the right way..... entering speed tournaments and hoping to be lucky will cost you dearly.

Hope that makes some sense .............. I typed it in a rush so hope it's ok.

They are the 8pm "Main Events" on SkyPoker and generally attract the largest fields of any tournaments on SkyPoker (excepting freerolls).

The Primo takes place each Sunday and is televised on Sky Channel 865. This is a standard freeze-out multi-table tournament.

In the Double Stack (as the name implies) each player starts with a stack that is twice the normal amount for these events (i.e. 4000). It is also a standard freeze-out MTT.

There are two Bounty Hunters - on Monday and Thursday. The Thursday one is televised. In a Bounty Hunter the prize pool is split into two equal parts - half for place finishes and the other half as a bounty each time you knock a player out. You keep 3/4 of the Bounty and the other 1/4 is added to your "head prize".
