Just found a cracking little world cup bet 

South Africa - Stage of elimination - Last 16 @ 7/2

The host nation has ALWAYS made the 2nd round of the competition at least in every finals. I thought that run might have ended when Japan & Korea had the finals but even they got through. Granted, they've got France in their group but they've also got Mexico & Uruguay, both of whom they're capable of beating.

There is NO DANGER that will be 100/1 come the summer (imo)

When you think about some of the "wide" players that might be in the Squad....

Milner? Downing? Young? Wright-Phillips? Wallcott? Rory Delap? A N Others?

I might be wrong, but because they are expecting a cool and damp climate (similar to ours) I think that Capello will take a hatful of wide players.....lots of crosses? lots of headers..... from crosses/set pieces?
