How very gracious of you.  I'm sure that the people "who mattered" will love you forever, meanwhile for the rest of us who "don't matter" I hope that the marketing department get their act together and treat all of those who registered for the newsletter and/or have given e-mail addresses equally in the future. Perhaps they could even give the information to the customer services department so that they can actually help the erm....customers?
