Easy fold or is that too nitty?

Villain has been a little active. Likes to get involved but I haven't seen any showdowns with him since I've been at the table.

I knew I'd get at least one caller pre flop and as long as there's no ace on the flop I'm happy. However, with the check call on the flop then leading out on the turn is this a straight forward fold or is that just too tight?

Agree, I dont see him leading with either a 4 or 7 after check/calling the flop.

way too nitty he probably has sumthin like 55 or a bit higher, although u get 2 callers and the villan calls in the big blind for value so sayin that he could hav anythin.

so i would try to apply pot control and get to the river as cheap as i could and loose the minimum if he did flop big.

Also he has a large stack and players who has over 100 bb in cash tent to make plays like floating and check raising and so on. so for me id call his donk bet on the turn and river it doesnt add up for me that he has a
    house!!

never. ur only getting called if ur beat and you dont want to fold out worse hands

easy call, and as long as river isnt an A call any bet again if u say hes a LAG

Yeah agreed - if we raise and they come back over the top, it's the same decision as we have now but for much bigger pot so don't like that! If we raise and they fold, we're losing their bluffs/shoddy value bets on the river so it's call - give them rope to hang themselves with and if it's checked to us, take them to value town!

Oops, seems I took the wrong option here. I actually folded.

I just kinda felt I was up against something like A7/A4 but I guess I'll never know now.

If I'm being really honest I think part of my problem here is that I seem to be on a major downswing at the moment & that's probably skewed my thinking here as well.

Just for arguments sake, if I call this here, is everyone calling anything on the river unless an ace comes out?
