Which Napoleons?
There are 6 Napoleons Casinos in the UK, but if you are referring to Sheffield, they have two, "Eccleshall Road" & "Owlerton", the latter being attached to the greyhound racing & speedway track.
If I know Hurst it will be Owlerton , (Only a guess:))
Yup there is a B&B, just up passed Hillsborough Park, buses, there are the 77/78 from Sheffield Interchange, platform C3 these run every 15 minutes and alternate between 77 and 78 and the bus stop is not far from Owlerton Stadium.
Yes, there is a bus from Sheffield Train Station which stops outside Owlerton Stadium. As you say, it's very close to Hillsborough Stadium. In fact, there is a Tram service part of the way, too. Oohhhh....
It's an Industrial area, so there are a few, but not very many B & B's within walking distance, but "The Garrison" Hotel is about 100 yards away. Their website is HERE. It's an interesting Hotel, linked to a Morrisons supermarket, & built entirely within what was once Hillsborough Barracks, & is a quite splendid piece of architecture from a bygone age, dating back to 1848. If these things interest you, take a look at THIS, which is a quite fascinating history of Hillsborough Barracks.
I've no idea what time the Tourney finishes, it just depends on how many runners they get. It's largely died as a poker venue in recent years, as the better offering at DTD has eclipsed it, but it's a lovely little cardroom, quite intimate, full of all sorts of rogues & vagabonds, & I've always enjoyed the atmo there, with the staff, in particuler, being very friendly & "Yorkshie-ish". WSOP Bracelet winner Lawrence Gosney is a regular there.
Oh, & for footie fanatics, the majority sharerholder of Napoleons Casinos is a man called Dave Allen, who I used to know quite well, who was also, at one time, famous, even infamous, as Chairman of Sheffield Wednesday (a football club, I'm led to believe), & that in itself was quite a story. It's HERE. He was also a keen pigeon racer.
You did ask......
Rileys the snooker club has cash games every thursday and friday that can get quite juicy aswell.
If you want me to find out exact times and venues let me know, but i sometimes go with friends and they are good nights
