software favouring players??
at the start of every deep stack i reckon i can tell whos gonna win 8 outa 10 times within 15/20 hands and yes this aint a moan because sometimes its even me either you cannot miss whatever you play as in the 1st one i played tonight then the 2nd one every time went in as fav got outdrawn by same player at least 6 times was out kicked by just one pip my one and last all in was with KJ and ran into AJ in a way i think my headline should have read software favouring a certain seat what seems very strange to me is i win virtually all my games one day but lose all on another there is no break even day as such your thoughts please

Some nights you hit every Flop, & catch Set after Set, other nights you miss everything.
That's my experience, though it's more in live Poker than Online, as historically, I played more Live than Online.
Wonderful things, luck, & variance.
He packed up took his winnings (good luck to him that's the way to do it)
Then as a new player was about to sit down, an existing player at the table asked Nial (floor manager) if he could move to the vacated seat. It was OK'd and that player went on a lucky streak as well, cant remember his name but such a nice fella !! .. "What"!!
heehee
Strange as he seems to be seated top middle on a lot of his tables
Would explain it huh
LOL

My advice to you on this is narrow down your starting range, if you have Ace-Nine or Ace-Ten in early position, or after a raise has been put in, I think you should be folding it, unless the opponent has previously been raising with marginal hands like Ace-Seven or King-Ten etc.
This way you won't need to worry too much when you are in a hand whether your kicker is good enough. If you are holding Ace-Queen and come up against Ace-King, this is just a cold deck situation, it will happen once every so often but you can't worry about it or it will affect your game.
"my one and last all in was with KJ and ran into AJ"
This is just a cold deck situation again, it will happen. I am presuming you were a short stack with 4-8 big blinds left, you have to push with the King.
You have like a 1 in 4 chance of winning this hand, you'll feel good when you hit and you'll feel equally bad when you have the AJ and lose in this situation, but it will happen sometimes (average- 1 in 4 times).
If only the good runs lasted as long as the bad ones!
Ah well, that's poker!!!
I think in life some people are FAVOURED so does that mean life is fixed?
for example some people win at cards ,some people win lottery millions,DaveyZZ wins lots of sky tournements, lol nice one 15kBH by the way,
games of chance require luck, and i know myself when i run bad i may as well not play, but equally when you run hot you should play more, and how will you know when your hot if you dont play.....
No one in the world can explain why these things happen, but if you have a 5% chance of losing and coincidently the last time you lost it was in the same seat, your brain will make a connection and rather than explain it by LUCK you will find more rational explaination,it was fixed.......but i ask you how would they fix it for so many players to be up and so many players to be down?
surely if it was a fix we all would be down
the top 15% make money , that means most of you cant play to the required standard to be successful....ie there are other better players than yourselves....if you lose continually to bad beats there is a problem with your game....and if you actually record every hand you played(including the winning ones) you might learn where your leaks are..........
now this year in wsop chip leader called with 88 against AA this was right on final table bubble,he had ten times more chips than him,and coincidently flopped an 8 thus knocking out the man in 10th......
maybe the fact that chip leader seems to be luckier than anyone else is a sign that he is on a hot streak....not that the casino rigged the cards in his favour.....
so before moaning my ak got beaten by 53 think unless i have the nuts i can lose....
regards toby
i think every situation that happens online can,and has happened in a live tournies....
p.s. ty dj not a bad win..
i dont agree with you though about bad beats,if i go out to a bad beat i dont mind(after ive stopped steaming, about an hour later) because if i go out to a bad beat it means i have got the other player to commit his chips with the worse hand therefore i will win more showdowns than i lose.....(cough)
B LUKKY
I honestly think that was the sickest hand I have ever seen. Who could have gotten away from that?!
