hey rover, my wife has gone over to Corby in England for the week. Last week we got a puppy from a farm, the father was a black lab, and the mother a boarder collie, when she got it she said to me' i can see more collie in him' i said ' you daft moo, im no geneticist, but i reckon it 50% lol' anyway, i rang her today and told her it was yelping all night, and wasnt eating properly, 'ahhh' she said 'poor thing' I told her my mate said it might be because its missing her, she said ' that might be right' i said 'i dunno about that, im sleeping like a log, and eating like a hog lol'

This is a good thing.  That used to tilt me as it makes no sense.  When you say `over`, it means you have finished your sentance and are waiting for a reply.  When you say `out` it means you are finished your sentance and transmission and are not waiting for a reply.  So over and out when said together makes no sense.   God I`m sad.
