Viva Las Vegas Update - Friday.
Well after all that excitement yesterday today we start again.
As of now, there are 11 runners in Sunday's Semi-final, so there is already one seat guaranteed to the first Viva Las Vegas Final. (There will be three Finals, over three months).

More Satellite slots have been added today, & tonight's Quarter Final (9 pm) already has eight runners, who are.....
There are satelites running pretty much every half-hour, & the latest began 4 minutes ago, & 17 entered, so that's one more for tonight's 9pm Quarter.

would be so amazing to go to vegas. I don't think my mother would be happy though.
The 15.45 satellite has just started, only 7 runners, but it's OK, one in FIVE go through from this one (it varies with the buy-in), so that's another for tonight's 9pm Quarter.

Roll on next Wednesday, I get to hear if I got the job that I had an interview for yrsterday, if Im succesfull then I can't go to Vegas - so no point doing these Satellites - but if I don't get the job I can begin my quest of making Vegas baby!!
So wednesday will be a bitter - sweet day for me either way lol!!

What is the job you are going for, if you don't mind me asking?
The next Vegas Satellite - a 1 seat in 10 jobbie - goes off at 5.15, & with half an hour to go, has 5 runners, including our own Bobby "dazler", who was so unlucky in a VLV Grand Final last year, looking a winner all the way until encountering some ugly binkage.
But you can buy in direct to the 9pm Quarter Final - £13 gets the job done.
Not at all, the job is a new pilot scheme based in West Wales, basically going around the area teaching people how to use modern technology i.e. laptops, mobile phones etc and how to use facilities like skype and websites etc (may show them how to use skypoker and use the refer a friend scheme :O)!! Pretty cushty number, 50+ applied for it and its been shortlisted down to 2 of us so 50/50 really - they want to look through our references blah blah before making a decision.
As I said previously, bitter sweet day really Wednesday - they have allready said if I get the job I am needed during WSOP time and can't take any holidays in June/July/August becuse that is when they will be at their busiest apparantly!! We shall see mate, thanks for the good luck by the way mate

All of a sudden through these "washing lines on trees" we get to see people talking in this large box called a television or something and this amazing thing called internet works on our laptop - no cables or anything - it's amazing and because of this internet thing I can now play snap on a regular basis on this website called skypoker - it's great but Im no good at it - when ever I have pretty looking cards like 7 of hearts and 2 of spades - they don't seem to win that much
We are now hoping to upgrade next week from a horse and carriage to this thing called a "car", don't ask me what it is but apparantly it's fast :0 lol

Wow, the 5.15 (1 in 10) got 37 runners!
The 5.30, a 1 in 5 affair, got 10, so that'll be two more for the 9pm Quarter, which now has SIXTEEN confirmed.
There's a bit of a runaway leader in the 37 runner (3 seat) 5.15 - what price he gets his seat? He could sit out now & qualify, but I've seen bigger leads spewed!

Dohhhhhhh get it right, the poor fella bubbled, but at least he got the "left over" cash - £9.10, so made a nice profit.

It's hard to fathom - there were about 92,000 chips in play.
I'm not sure if everyone understands how Super-Sats work, as this happenns again & again, especially in Live Poker.

23 in tonight's Quarter now, the numbers are slowly rising, & there are about 10 more Seats currently "in-running", so that's 30 odd - it might yet make 40, for 4 seats.
Up to you Ads, but there are now FORTY in tonight's Quarter Final, so thats 4 seats, & few directs will hopefully shove that over the 50 mark.
If there is any interest, I'll try & run another little Live Update, as per last night, again.
