Having at last got around to joining my local casino, I am looking at the various types of tournaments that they hold.
One of them that caught my eye was a .....
Triple Chance Freezeout. Just wondered exactly what this was. Can any of the good folk on here enlighten me

say the start of the tourney u begin with 5000 chips u will have 2 stacks of 5000 in reserve so to speak in case of any accidents, after a set period of time any stack that you havent used will be credited to u, ie after 2 hours u never had to get a 2nd stack and had run up the original stack to 10k then they would credit u with the 2 remaining stacks taking u to 20k. this is my understaning of it but i could be wrong, someone somewhere will have a definite answer, hope this helps

You get your original starting chips, but if you run out, you can rebuy a maximum of twice and an add on after the alloted time after the rebuys, then its a normal freezout game.

not where ive played. A semi freeeout, yes, then you have to pay to get ur chips afterwards. Like I said, maybe its different per casino. Ive been to a few though, and only known one way
