Playing drunk....

Is neither big or clever.

I was skint early this month.

But played my bank roll up through the week. Multiplied my bank roll x20.

Satellited into the big BH. Cashed even. Feeling good.

Then got drunk tonight and ruined all my good work.

I'll win it back yet though.

I'm invincible.

    lol guys!! its not playing drunk thats the problem! It's when you play absolutely sozzled!!!

    I refuse to play sober, in fact I ave only done it once in 6 months!! - And Im a winning player with steady profit! It proves it can be done!!!

    It must be psychological - stop blaming the booze and look at the real problem!! Having a drink isnt an excuse to justify playing different - so dont?

    Anyway gl, Cans in the air from 1.30 this afternoon!!!! :)

    haha get on it !!! boozers are open from 7am now! - apparently? - It's the norm!!! 

    I normally only play every other day, for the above reason, but I got tempted by the horse racing this week and was shattered and asleep by 9pm last night!!!!!

    Anyway managed to sleep it all off and raring to go again today for super mastercash/tp/racing/football/super league/IPL/coronation street omnibus - SATURDAY!!!!

    Are you playing for fun or trying to make a consistant profit that you can draw??? I play for fun and my bankroll goes up and dn but generally up a wee bit week on week but then this thur night/fri morn i thought your playing pants at the cards having dropped only a tenner and then stuck 50 in to sky vegas. I was sober but tired. so dont play when tired and stay away from the bandits. Generally in the evening and all weekend i couldnt legally drive because of the amount ive drunk but i enjoy my cards a lot more for a drink.

    i like a drink whilst playing and some of my best wins have been with a little Dutch courage but find as i get deeper in a turny i drink faster, but am fine until that one too many then i become invincible and you cant possibly beat my 72off lol luckily i have a wife who knows when i should ease  up bless her

    haha is there a beer tap in the green room?

    I'd be alright if I won tp with the cameras following me round Vegas!! - They'd have to make sure it was shown late at night hahaha!!

    I dont get these guys who cant play properly with a beer - Just an excuse in my opinion!! :)

    right then dohhhhh, we start at 7p.m   my wine says it has 9.8 units of gogo juice in each one, your drinking that nancy lager stuff, so on my calculations 5 cans to 1 bottle. we start at 7pm like i say and see how much money we can make( or lose) by 11. i think 5cans/ i bottle an hr should surfice. photo graphic evidence required  lol

    Normally on the 6th/7th pint by now but saving myself for the rugby. Also shows the family that i can practice self restraint cause missus just back to get changed b4 she goes back out and i could point to my lad and say "see ive told him he has a problem" as he sat supping a bottle of magners lol. She has threatened too kill me if my snoring is as bad as last night but 12 pints does that to a man

    Ive been so smashed as I`d been on an all dayer, that I threw up in the casino toilets before a tourney and went on to win it.  I have some good drunk poker stories.
    Who says you cant play drunk.  The worse thing about drinking is what I post on here when Ive had a load.  I wake up in the morning, look at the forum and think nnooooooo, I didnt write that surely.

    im starting now,in the orford and the open also im staying off the forum as omahonyo says i can get abit trollish after a skinful so gl all you drunks see you on the tables and proberly on the forum too cuz i know what i said but you know its kind of addictive this place is especially wasted.apologies in advance..sean

    haha so true, maybe they should allow a `Drinkers speakeasy` thread, where you can post whatever you like at night when hammered, then of course apologise the next day when you realise.
