hehe nah, but within an hour of eachother.

U know when a guy "NEVER" bluffs, and ur sat with AQ on a ten ten ten ACE board, is it STUUUUPID to put him on quads and fold??? lol

There was another about 2 weeks ago when I lost a £300 pot to quad 8s on an 8 8 2 3 4 board, I had 44 - but thats gone from my hand history

I know people say you shouldn't call fro a split pot....

But having led the river and been raised, I have to assume Im up against an ace here surely? How do u guys play the river? Can you check call?

I guess he could have had pocket jacks, never thought of that at the time, I just called and was annoyed that he had shoved to increase the rake. Then I saw quads.

two words come to mind, "crying call".

in my experience:-

i might win 1 in 10 of these (against a bluff)
5 in 10 may be a split pot
4 in 10 will probably lose (to a better fh or quads in this case)

i try to avoid situations like this; like a drunk, horn y, fat bird at an all you can eat bbq.....
