    Did anyone ever tell you that AK is a drawing hand? When you miss the draw, and then lose out, it's really not a bad beat. He had the open ended straight draw from the turn. Yes, it was loose, but betting £11 on ace high is just as loose. Let's face it 2 3 was beating you.

    You say he has J high, I say he has an open ended straight draw.
    I say you have A high and nothing else.

    il gladly play u m8 ........ its poker was makin a semi bluff with my flush draw and i figured my A and K was good ............... its ok m8 u dont understand...... im not afraid of makin plays .............. was jus suprised of j high callin me k chief

    AHHHHHH ACE KING

    Ive been nocked out of so many tournaments with ace king.

    Ive lost countless big pots at the cash tables with ace king.

    But I still, absolutely LOVE the feeling I get when I am dealt ACE KING!!!!

    Its a brilliant hand!!!!

    .....and.....everytime I get 3 bet pre flop.... HE HAS ACE KING.

    .......everytime we get to the flop and he C bets......HE COULD HAVE ACE KING !!

    Even when he turns the 2 aces over, I still believe its just an illusion and really, he has ACE KING !!

    Hi

    There are rules on the forum about naming players and calling them donks, idiots etc, it is deemed not acceptable, could I suggest you edit out the name before the mods do?

    What dont I understand? I think we can all quiet clearly see you fell in love with AK and made a move at the wrong time! you got called by someone with an OESD and also a mid flush draw (FWIW)
    I would say that the Donk bet here was your AI and the other a poor or if we are being kind a crying call.
    Remember we can see all the cards and have no table info.
    But posting it on here is good advertising!
    I also disagree with posting winning opponents details without permission

    I think you will find the time to bluff is when your opponent is going to fold not call or RR. Phil Halmouth likes to get his money in when he knows he is 80% ahead not "possibly" 75% fwiw
    You could of been as little as 18% favourite if he is slow playing pocket queens
    I do agree it is a little unfortunate that he called but in cash you should be more astute as to where and when you make this move. Why bluff when you could be drawing dead to the nut flush? The only time I make this move is if i had the AofS. So i Know no one else has the nuts (assume I have Kh instead of Ks)and i think i would need to be slightly stronger to the board then you are. I personally dont push there as most of the time you are only getting called by a better hand.
    But i know you didnt want advice so please ignore this

    The 4x call with TJ is speculative to say the least. From that point on they both end up in what Harrington calls 'a dark tunnel' ....... nothing unusual, this happens all the time. Neither player can let go of their hand.

    No reason to have a go at WHOAMI though. Lighten up a bit.

    alrite elsa mate i dont think any1 is haven a go at whoami there just sayin its only ace high n not to show the other fellas name me personaly i think its bad play by both of them but i wouldnt moan about it at the end of the day the other fella was chasen his straight draw
