how many chips

if you know that you are behind in a hand but yoy dont want to lose all your chips . how many chips should you put in . so that you can fold if a re raise10percent of your chips or more  or would that show that you are too weak

    If i know i'm behind in a hand and i don't want to lose chips on it, i fold. Best way i find.

    The only time i will put chips in if i am behind is if i think the other person is weak aswell, if you let them bet and then re-raise they will either fold or call and then fold on next street... you want to be putting the decision on the other player, if they are weak they fold
