Please could someone tell me why NEW RECRUITS
to Sky Poker get a £1,000 FREEROLL???.

I got entered into a £500 freeroll 18 months ago, came second and won £45. Not all new members go into the £1000 freeroll, its only for those that sign up through recognised third party, a bit like refer a friend, but on a company wide scale. As with all companies, they will from time to time use recruitment incentives, its normal practice, not just for sky,mortgages (1st time buyers) is another example. Im sure in the future their will be other incentives for new members, but we shouldn't be bitter towards people that get something that we didn't, good luck to them i say.

I won the £1000 freeroll when I joined Sky.Sky also gave me £25 as it was my birthday week so all was looking great.

However, after I won the 1st prize of £300, I received an email of Sky saying that unfortunately they had made an error and needed to charge me £0.56p entry fee for the tournament I had just won!!! Well I replied ' if you are going to mess me about, have your prize money back!! '. That told them.

I am currently waiting for the next Facebook freeroll to come along........

What is it with people like you? your'e never happy with whatever the sky team try to introduce to bring new players to the site maybe if you concentrated on your game rather than how much free money you can get then you may find yourself not needing freerolls PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I first signed up I got loads of stuff - A Sky Poker cheque book & pen, a Sky Poker Badge, a Sky Poker bin and even a Sky Poker Speedboat, even though I live in Central England. That's how generous they were.

I`m just enquiring what other people might have got as an incentive to join Sky Poker.
I don`t expect Sky to give me free money.
I can`t concentrate on my game because i`m to busy laughing at your reply,and if Sky did away with the freerolls it wouldn`t bother me one little bit.
