We dont know whos idea it was to learn players to be able to show their hands on the forum,but please can he take away the technology,as Bryan and i cant stand to see them anymore.Its like us showing you our lottery tickets that missed every number by 1 or 2.Its like us showing you our betting slip with 3 winners and 2 seconds that would have won if they had not got hampered etc etc etc.Everyone whos played this crazy game of 80% luck and 20% skill must learn after a short while, that anything and everything that can happen ,will happen in the course of a single days play.What dont some players get?.How could he call that?,why did he call my rr with them cards?,why wouldnt she put them down?,what a boring game it would be if everyone played the same,played the pot odds,only played premium starting hands,poker is not as complex as many are lead to believe so if the game is going to make you whinge and cry,throw the towel in and go for long walks etc.But please if you do decide to go for long walks,PLEASE dont send your walk pictures to the forum,just enjoy your walk.Have a lovely evening poker people ,kind regards Bryan and i.

    Yep nice one Bryan again !!!   I've just realised why  I slowed down  my  live games,  Every time I was in acasino  people would come over and  say
    "Hi mate, ya never guess what just happened to me at the tables"?
    " I was holding AK  sooted this  guy  raised on a flop  of  AKQ  rainbow ,I go  all-in , what do  ya think he had ?


    "Ohhhh" I'd say, 
    "dont  know, J 10"?


    "yeah    what the $(*% can ya do" ?  
     
    "Who can ya turn to"      :))

    s'funny tho,that at a 6 handed table theres only really ever 17 cards out of a deck of 52 in play,and yet the board always seems to contain AKQJ10 (of which there are 20 in a deck),would have thought ud see less of those sort of hands..although math was never my strong suit.

    Good luck with that one! LOL. As long as their are people that cant accept defeat and their are players think that they are better than they are, you will always have people putting up "bad beats". It seems to me that some peoples only reason for playing poker is so they can moan about how unlucky they are!

     heres a fact ,

     played in skypoker since the beginning ,

     is that 3 years WOW ?

     i never have posted or complained about bad beats on here ,

     whats the point it wont help me play better .

     so instead of using up energy complaining,

     i change games ,

    this makes me focus on my game better .

    so my advice is changing ones game type helps to 

    keep one focused !

    Here's another fact

    People who gamble and lose will always moan :) not every player but if you create an environment where you gather a certain amount of gamblers into one place to converse then you will unintentionally create a way to whinge :)

    I agree.

    We should ban all bad beat stories from the General Poker Chat, nobody wants to read them, they should only be allowed in Area 51, or maybe create a new section especially for bad beat stories and leave Area 51 the place for conspiracy theories. Bad beat stories that are disguised as something else are particularly annoying.

    As suggested by Bryan it might be worth banning all hand historys from this section. Hand histories are only really need in The Poker Clinic, Area 51, and the new bad beat section should it be created.

    Look inka2003, let's not get embroiled in a fisty-cuff scenario on this. You might be a big man, but you're out of shape. With me it's a job.

    The term 'Gaggle' can be applied to anything that there is two of, and it's well documented that Bryans never go anywhere without themselves. Willhelm agrees with me, and he knows lots about Amber Pentagrams, and other Olde English stuff. 

    I've double checked my Thesaurus, and it's definitely a Gaggle of Bryans. For clarity, other collective nouns include: An Embarrassment of Chips, An Intelligence Of Poker Players, A Pride of Pocket Pairs, A Fury of Floppageness, A Barren of Starting Hands, A Pathetic of Bankrolls, A Drunk of Hero Calls, and a Blessing of Aces.

    ok ive been guilty of posting alot of bad beat hands lately.

    for me it has been a kind of therapy for me as theres no point telling my girlfriend that my full house 5's over queens just lost to 6's over queens on the river as i would just get a blank stare given back to me.

    but i can now see brian and i's point so i wont post any more :)

    Burn all bad beats. If its at a live event punch them in the nose. I hate the build up / breaks in tournaments because I get floods of people coming over to me telling me their bad beat stories. If i could hold my breath long enough I would stick my head in a bucket of sand until the break was over.
