Dear SmellsLikeTeenSpirit30, just go to the main Twitter page, and in the menu in the top right hand corner, choose 'Find People' (third from the left). In the search field, type in Sky Poker, and Sky Poker will come out first. Hit the Sky Poker logo, and when that home page launches, simply click on 'Follow'.

Other forum readers may not be aware that when a CD or DVD becomes stuck in their computer, it can be easily retrieved by unfurling a paper clip, and inserting one end of it into the tiny hole next to the CD drive.

I used to agree that social networking sites were lazy substitutes for real friendship, but I've come round to them now.

For the highly successful billionaire – and busy Dandy about Town (like me), they're invaluable for seeing at a glance, what everyone else is having for dinner, and how ugly their children have become.

And when time is money, that's a bonus.

If you were really desperate, you could follow me on Twittter too - I put a lot of left-field stuff up on there, but it will include real-time snippets from SPT Glasgow this Saturday, progress of Dan Brown "as it happens" from the GUKPT in Coventry in a fortnight, & TABLESIDE action from the Main Event in Vegas. And non-tableside action from Vegas, too. Mmmm, hotel secrets.....

Like Nirvana, I prefer "real friends", & I shunned Facebook & Twitter until recently. Certain circumstances - story to follow - forced me to give them a go, & to be honest, if you can filter the wheat from the chaff, it's been quite a pleasing experience, especially as I - even at my age - have been learning the little secrets of how best to use these social networks.

So, after all that, my Twitter addy is, & it's free to "follow" me, which is what you need to do if you want those Vegas secrets "as they happen". And uncensored. Mostly. ;)

I've actually tweeted - see the terminology! - twice today already.

'Follow' and 'become a fan of' has been done away with (this applies to the whole of facebook, not just the Sky Poker page).

These have been replaced by the universal 'like'. Just click the 'like' button at the top of the page (on the Sky facebook page) and you'll effectively be 'following' us.

Like Tikay i've only recently jumped on the facebook/twitter bandwagon.

This is probably due to that fact I broke my arm just before Christmas meant being unable to work and that gave me some spare time on my hands. Having driven friends & family to the point of their unplugging their telephones of an evening, someone (well, several really) suggested joining facebook and so there I am still am. it's amazing the amount of inane drivel you get on there too........'I HAVE JUST GOT UP AND I'M PUTTING THE CAT/DOG/FIRE OUT'.....yep, Okay.......... I wonder what they'll do when something interesting does happen?

[footnote: still off work five months down the line waiting for an operation to pin and plate the arm and still facebooking....how sad is that?]....catch you all later.

According to a tv programme I was watching, facebook is totally owned and run by the CIA.

They want to know exactly where, when and why you put the cat out.
