Internet vs No Internet

I have just been without the internet for about ten days. Missing the TKO freeroll still gripes after cashing £0 in all four comps which I was there for.

I came back today, read the general chat area and wondered why I bothered, all the boring bad beat threads, you know the ones "I won the primo this year but poker sucks" etc etc.

I then entered the Shed and my faith in Sky Poker was restored, best thread ever has to be: You shouldn't but you would. Nice work OMahoneyO.

I got to thinking about the advantages and disadvantages of life with/without the internet.

Advantage of life with the internet: No need to do any bicep curls?!?
Disadvantage of no internet: Having to talk to the other half!!

Anyone got any others?

    10 days!!! i could never do that.

    My modem died last night, first thing i done this morning was a trip to get a new one.

    Its not that i use it loads, but i cant live without it.

    I cant really think of any advantages or disavantages as nothing about my life changes, i can just relax knowing its there when i need it.

    My Sky router broke, cant just go and buy one.  Takes 2-5 days delivery, after four days I phone up to see where it was and they hadn't despatched it!!  Was not a happy man at the time...

    Advantage of the internet..........Information on everything you can think of.

    Disadvantage.........kids using it and pedo predators.

    Advantages of the Internet:-
    Never have to go outside your front door again if you don`t want to.

    No Internet:-
    You would have to do everything.
    Shopping,Banking,going to work are just the start of a never ending list
    of things that you would have to do without the Internet.
