Reserves / Stand-Ins for the SPT in Glasgow this weekend 8th May

Hi Fellow Poker Players,
I'm wondering if anyone is NOT able to make the SPT this weekend in Glasgow Alea casino. I unfortunately failed to qualify in either the online / live events.  Obviously if SKY are happy for this to happen.
It's a bit of a long shot, but i went to last years tour and thourighly enjoyed it, even tho i had an 8 hour round trip... It was worht it!!
Or if the SKY poker team are listening, is there a reserve list on the day?
Any responses would be appreciated.

I don't think there is a reserve list as such and I know from other SPT events that no shows chip stacks just get blinded out, after all you could turn up late, Hellmuth never starts the WSOP in his seat!

At Newcastle there was a satellite game for 1 seat into the tourney in the morning at the casino, don't know if there are any plans for that.

I went and watched at Manchester, the sit and gos that go on when a few people are eliminated are great fun and last long into the night, £10 and £20 buy ins and a chance to mingle with the Sky community so its worth coming along in my opinion.

Thanks for the response. I will probably be there on the Friday night so i will check with the casino and see if they know of any satellites arranged.

There may be a seat or two available on the day. At the previous two events we've run a STT satellite at 12.30pm on the Saturday

Do not ask the venue tonight, its with Sky (me) not them!
