Surprise Selection/Shock Selection

As we know.....Fabio Capello picks his initial 30 man squad tomorrow.

If the last WC squad is anything to go by, then it is almost certain that there will be (at least) a Surprise and a Shock Selection........

Who will they be??????

I will face forum ridicule by kicking off with the following.

Surprise Selection.........ANDY CARROLL

Shock Selection................RORY DELAP

AIRWALKER

Other way round i think em lol.

Suprised Selection..............Baines

Shock Selection..............Bridge

It's not so much surprise selection because everyone's been talking him up recently but Adam Johnson should definitely be in the 23, if not the starting eleven! Capello should tell Lampard and Gerrard (can't see him leaving out the latter although there's argument for doing so) to make it work in the middle and let's get Lennon/Milner and Johnson causing mayhem on the wings...think everything will be pretty straight forward in terms of no real new names, just players returning that we've not seen recently like Carragher and Hargreaves!

JAMIE CARRAGHER...QUALITY. As fast as my Gran, but brilliant reader of the game.

Footnote....If Rio will not be fit enough to wear the armband, then Frank Lampard should be the man. His attitude and behaviour on Sunday made me tip my hat to him.

lots of stuff all over the net about him going today, i just don't know why though? Not had a good season, lacking in pace and we have a lot of defensive options which should negate the need for him but i think the buzz is right and he will go
