What a start to my Saturday morning, I roll outta bed, check my tables, no sign of the result. Check sharkscope, no record of the tournament. So i check the forum, and am thinking aup someones on the wind up here!!
Wha a performance from you guys last night, while I was sleeping off yet another hangover.
Deuce AK - yet another final table, this time, getting the inevitable victory - this guy deserves a knighthood!
The Dart - MR consistant - finally got the final table his play deserved, being very unlucky when I was watching earlier in the week.
SolarCaro - DAVE!!! I new you had it in ya! - delivering when it mattered! top man.
OMAHONYO!! - The George Best/Matt Le Tissier of poker, finally lasted past the first ten minutes! When Le Tiss turned up - he normally smashed it! Top man - thought u werent even gonna make it?? haha
This must be one of the great sky poker achievements of all time surely??? Im so chuffed, we never gave up all week after a slow start, dug in, made the little cashes which kept us in the hunt, all building up to the dramatic finale.
I made what was said by many as a "stupid decision" to leave the dream team, full of TPers and high stakes players, to form a breakaway team to go and slay the giants. I took on the challenge, backed my men, and you guys delivered when asked to!!!
Well done to the other team members, it wasnt all about the cashes, GeezerJT, Shanxxta, Fundz, Kunster, and Penguin, great support on the forum and on the tables, really got the team spirit up as the competition went on, and we got what we deserved.
What a team !
I believe we have free entery into the primo? With the form we're in, I wouldn't bet against 2/3 team DOHH'ers on the final table!
