Let's not denigrate glazed housing by relying on lazy, stereotypical pigeon-holing. It could be a conservatory. Or a 'lean-to'. It may, or may not have planning permission. The point is, we don't actually know, if we just make superficial assumptions.
In my experience, if you look beyond the obvious, feign interest and ask questions... perhaps even get to know your glazed structure better, then the likelihood of you 'swinging your leg across it' increase dramatically.
