Well I have been really quiet so missed putting a final blog up so if its Ok I will conclude my Blog on here Ala JockBMW Stylee. So I am just going to reiterate a story to you, when I say story It is actual truth not a story.
So one of the reasons I wanted to do a blog was to show that Things happen Live just as they do on line, but to be honest of the 5 or 6 months that I have been playing live 3 times a week the weeks either side of the blog were quite astounding. So let me set the scene.
About 7 weeks ago I was in the Casino playing the usual Pot Limit £2/£2 blinds
I ended up in a hand with JJ and raised the Pot, one person called then another loose player raised the Pot again so I pushed over the top and both call so I end up in a pot worth about £1,750
It ends up I am against AA & KK So a Massive dog but I hit a J 1st card and the trips hold up.
About an Hour later I get KK and get a caller with a reraise. the flop comes K 3 7 he checks so I bet and he raises so I RR he ends up all in well we turn the cards over and he has a set of 3s to my Ks only for him to hit his 1 outer on the river.
So ended up with about £1,500 in front of me and the very last hand I have AA the pot is £50 when it comes to me and I raise £50 the next player to bet RR the Pot and it folds round to me at which point I RR and it is £300 for him to call he Lays down and shows me his Cowboys so as its the last hand I show him AA we played the flop and my AA would of held in fact if I had not RR I would have taken £1250 off him as the pot was the ideal place for him to shove and I would of Called.
3 quite amazing hands for 4 hours of poker all of which I was Involved with personally.
Any way shoot forward to last Tuesday night at same Casino and me and my mate that I go with were discussing the Hand of AA v KK and saying can you really lay KK down? what if he turns over AKs or QQ so we had talked about it at length and both sort of agreed you really carnt lay them down, and I remember either Boonicon or Beaneh saying they would never lay KK down but with Pot Limit you sort of get Raise and RR and then you can pretty much tell your up against a top hand where as in No Limit they can push straight away and this disguises the value of there hand compared to Pot Limit
So last night I was playing the same game and I was about about £500 up with about £1,000 in front of me near the end so It can get a bit crazy. There is another player there who is a very solid player and had hit some nice hands early on and was sat with about £1,100 from his starting stack of £100 (Its always important to know how much of a players stack is "there" money)
I have KK UTG so call the the BB and it gets round to James who raises the pot £55 the player between James and me calls £55 I RR the Pot which is £220 so james instantly RR the Pot. WOW, The guy between me and James has folded and i need to put over £600 in to call....James has played probably 9 hands all night and won all nine I have played with him lots and I absolutely know he has AA not AK or QQ its absolutely AA.So What do you do....I am going to leave it there for the time being and we can have a quick debate about this.
Keep Smiling

Now I dont know the guy, but sounds to me like he could be good enough to get in your head and outplay you mentally and that he doesnt have AA at all.
That said, from your post I believe you are hinting he does, but I make the call unless I have a better reason to lay down.
Calling just because you're well up on the night, or because you're feeling lucky is a mistake.
I suspect there's going to be a twist to this tale (hopefully it's not a bad beat story!).
Its towards the end of the night, your mate James has been sat there playing very tight, it it now a case of that he is actually playing the player as opposed to his cards.
He knows you know his game well, he knows that he has been playing rock solid tight as the tightest thing in the world and he knows that you will have been observing him.
From his point of view, given that the game is nearly over, this is a good opportunity to make a move on you, as he knows that you are now thinking grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr James has got aces.
From the money perspective I couldnt make the call, that £600 is a lot to me, and I'd grit my teeth and tell him it was a nice bluff
