Was I behind
I was on a new table, first hand in mid pos (6 sided no limit cash).
It is folded to me I have 99 (mid pos) so three bet.
Big blind and small both call.
Flop 8/9/10 rainbow flop.
I don't know their range to have to bet encase of a drawing hand and to define mine. I bet half the pot. Both call.
The turn is a 2. I bet 3/4 of the pot.
Big blind calls. Am I behind with my set?
I make another 9 on the river so have the nuts and bet again 3/4 of the pot. The villain calls.
This isn't a story about quads but a question. Did I play this badly and was I losing from the flop and just got lucky, were my bets bad? Any help would be appreciated that is constructive. Please help.
