Villain is very good Tournament player and is a name that many regulars would recognise. Read him for the sort of hand he had, thought he was stronger than 4s but felt he was floating with a pocket pair. My check on the turn wasn't through fear of a flush, it was to try and get more value on any non-heart river. I feel like he's likely to either bet the river or call a small bet (something like 1000) but that he would instantly muck on the turn, whether he had a heart or not.

Does anyone else check the turn here, or do you bet the turn expecting to take the pot there and then?

Bet the turn because there are tons of pairs + heart that can call you. Also don't include results.
