river buster

edited June 2010 in Poker Chat

I think you may be on to something!

More hands are gonna be made on the river as your opponents are working with 7 cards rather than 5 or 6 (fop/turn)

Is it plonker morning on sky poker or what???

It would explain why im struggling as much to cash. Thanks for the support in that last DYM btw.

I must say though, ivve played maybe 30000 of poker online, 20000 of them with sky and id say ive probably screwed more people on the river than have screwed me, but then again im the first to jump on my high horse when on the recieving end

It's very difficult to convey sarcasm in a written post so, in order to help you, I am pretty sure that CGM's post was dripping with sarcasm.

Your opening post is utter drivel.

I have never lost on the river on any other poker site other than sky. There is something wrong with sky it happens too often.

have you ever noticed that whatever you want to hit when you've folded you hit, and when you call and want it you never hit?! sky is rigged isnt it!

Let me give ya an example jammy m8.I was down to 5k in chips in weds nites £3k gtd doublestack and was in the BB for 2k.SB puts me all in and has me well covered,i call it with 2 7 os and i hit my 7 on the river to keep me IN.I then did similar later on in the game with only 20 or so players left in (again vs a big stack) and i won again.I went on to finish 8th.I have done similar to this in 2 main event tournies in the past so if what you suggest is TRUE then surely what i have achieved could never happen, could it? all the best m8 dav

No. of hands lost on the river = no. of hands saved by the river.

    &

If the river couldn't change who was winning the hand there wouldn't be much point dealing it in the first place.
