as played ,no but i fold pre

aside from that, why pot bet the flop in position? i happily take a free card here, these kind of flops ur rarely getting action unless ur against a better draw or a made hand , in which case be prepared to shovel in some chips so im lovin life gettin a free card

once it gets to the turn in this hand ur goin broke now the pot has built to a level where ur committed

in the long run, fold pre, check behind flop

if u had check behind the flop and make ur hand on turn if the guy bets out u raise he 3bets u can get away from it or at least flat to catch bluffs as u wont get paid by worse and then call river thinkin the same

    Hi donkeyplop

i dont mind calling on the button with Q10 to a min raise and a flat, as you have position.

the pot size bet on the flop, again, is fine imo, because you have bottom pair and could take the pot here and now without having to hit your str8. The flat call from your opponant should worry you though.

Then, when your opponant leads potsize on the turn it basically tells me he most likely has Q. but at this point you have no option but to get your chips in. you have second nuts innit, and he may be repping the Q.

No getting off this, im afraid, once you have entered the pot.

    standard cooooooolerage.

i bet the flop as i had bottom pair and a draw so it was a semi bluff i guess?

i was hoping to take it down at that point to be honest.

what didnt help was the fact he flopped the nuts!!!

cheers for the advice though i see what you are saying and it makes sense.

thanks greg i guesed he had a queen and was expecting a split pot!

Bluffing is best when there is only 1 other player in the pot. So look to bluff when you are up against only 1 or 2 opponents. It's much more likely to get through.
