Glitch???

Every so often, as a hand finishes, I seem to be being shown the hole cards of players who have won hands without the hand going to a showdown. Fairly sure they are being shown randomly because Tuesday night another player appeared to be calling others cards after the hand in the same way, but I couldn't see those cards myself.

The betting would make sense of the cards shown, eg. player 3 bets pre flop, everyone else folds, QQ shown against player.

Unless the hand goes to a showdown, surely those cards shouldn't be seen.

You get the option to show or muck. Some players like to show their cards, that way they get a little more or less respect the next time.
