slate my play and what to do next

edited June 2010 in The Poker Clinic
Hi guys woiuld love your opinions on how bad ive played this hand, and what I should do next?

Its the 3rd hand of the 8pm bounty hunter so no reads on opponents.

I know i should fold pre and not raise out of position with k7, but after ive done that how did i play the flop and turn?

What should i do on the river? should i just give up on it? should i fire out again? I really had no idea where i was, should i easily be able to put him on a hand or rnage of hands?

it really helps if you posted what the river was, up until now i think you have played it fine, maybe bet a bit less on turn as stack sizes are a bit dodgy and i wouldnt be too surprised if he jammed over your turn bet

on any club/4/9 i would check/fold bet any K,7  chk/evaluate on most others (likely to c/c but it depends on his bet size)

his hand range is pretty much 44,88,99 and then a lot of combo draws ( 1pair + oesd, 1pair+ fd, fd & str8 draw etcetc) i would imagine 2pair or better he shoves turn with, he can have A7 i guess also

I don't think he had a made hand, he could of had something like A8 suited or something, the river could of made his hand though.
I wouldn't put him on a set, I'd put him on something like A8 or an overpair.
I think you played it fine though, did he think about his calls or...?
I would of fired again on the river.

What did he have out of interest? Or did you check fold?
