    Bit rascist that, no?

Maybe a better idea to kick all English players out of English football after today's (all 4 game's) showing?

Being racist aside i agree with you mate. Kick all of our players abroad so they can learn how to pass, shoot, be patient and learn some technical ability.

Do you realise that ALL the England team played in the premiership last season. In fact we were the only country in the World cup that pooled all it's squad from it's home leagues. Can you imagine how bad the game would be if we didn't allow jonny foreigner to play in it. You wouldn't get sky pumping all that dosh to show that tosh would you!!

Lol, so the French blamed England for being rubbish and now we go one better and blame the rest of the world. Not too sure how the  top clubs would do in Europe without our cousins from accross the waters.

what we need is more foreigners in at a younger age that we can then adopt as English like all the other countries.

but look at our squad, shouldn't we have a bit more quality? and what about the next 2 or 4 years?

our top flight is all about money, and English international football pays a heavy price for it.

Good point  - we are well behind compared to most european teams,  but they won,t get a chance to play at the top level unless we put a cap on foreigners taking up places in the premier League.

we should keep the best foreigners (3 or 4 a team) and get rid of the average ones

it was sad to see a cpl of games last season where one team (arsenal on one occasion and Chelsea i think) played with no english players

totally agree, this has been the problem for years, its not the fact they are foreign its the fact they are poor players but cheap to buy,an average foreigner costs about £2m but your'e average young english/british players cost £4/5m.
they need to weed out the dross and bring on the youngsters

Yeah that's right guy's because before the premier league started and are league's were full of English men we were winning the world cup and European championship all the time.............oh hang on a minute no we were'nt.

In fact 1974 1978 and 1994 we did'nt even qualify so that argument does'nt really hold up.

    Your going back 15-30+ years.

Football has changed a bit since then. The idea was to get some of the best players in the world to come to the premier league so the English could learn of them, but its gone to far now

but lets not forget we won it in '66 ;)

...anyway the FA will announce plans for a new infrastructure very soon...then appoint a new manager (English)...then FIFA will allow goal line technology...then we won't have anymore excuses if we are still s*** will we....

well, while most English football fans are happy supporting teams with a bunch of overpaid foreigners, managed by a overpaid foreigner, and owned by foreigners we might as well pack it in...

but then again, while most English fans seem happy to settle for a smug "I told you so!" when our national team fails, we should just turn a blind eye to what has happend to English football, and keep things how they are.

the English FA, Premier League and supporters need to put pressure on clubs to employ a certain amount of homegrown talent, put a cap on players wages and put some pride and passion back into playing for our country!
