Master Cash: Live Show Thread - Spot prizes, prima donna entrances, Sarah and me.

Evening all,

So, we're only two hours away from the start of this evening's live show. 'Master Cash' is all about your play on the cash tables and we'll be dipping into the low, medium and high levels during a MONSTER four-hour long show. We'll also be looking at the biggest pots of the week in our regular 'Top of the Pots' segment. Geez, who'd want to be doing that tonight, eh?

MASTER CASH WITH SARAH CHAMPION AND DAVE BLAND

Ah. That brings me neatly onto my next point. Tonight's presenter is the lovely Sarah Champion, so we're in very safe hands there. The analyst? None other than me! Yes, by day I might be a web editor but at night I turn into a Tikay-esque poker muse. Except I am younger and have slightly more hair. I also know nothing about trains. I hope you enjoy the show and take it easy on me; Tikay's boots are big ones to fill, I'm sure you'll agree!

TONIGHT'S COMPETITION

Of course, we have our usual selection of spot prizes up for grabs including three seats to Friday night's 'Take on Tikay' tournament. How do you win? That's easy.... just give us your answer to the following scenario:

The World Series of Poker Main Event gets underway on Monday and one of the most famous players in the world, Phil Hellmuth, will be making another of his famed WSOP entrances. If YOU were the most famous player in the world and had to make a similar type of entrance, what would you do?

We want mention of the theme, costumes, and music you'd enter the Rio to. Points will be awarded for general hilarity, so post away with your suggestions and let the good times roll!

Of course, post your hands and comments and most importantly of all enjoy the show! Just don't ask me about trains.

    I KNOW I`M ON THE SHOW ALREADY, BUT IF I WAS PHIL HELMUTH I`D HAVE LISA MARIE AND SARAH ON EACH ARM THEN THINKING 4 AND HALF WEEKS ( SORRY MONTHS ) EACH, THE OTHER 3 MONTHS I`D NEED A REST. LOL

    Have a good 'un Sarah and Dave - Dave you always do an excellent job in the analyst role, although I must comment on that disgusting shirt (I know it's only 18:14 and we've not seen the show yet, and I'm not Dr Who, but I just know it'll be a tad awful ;-) )

    Oh my. I'm having giddy spells thinking back to that one. I also know the lady in wardrobe is going to try and make me wear it again. I won't be having it though as I came prepared this time - brought my own threads. ;) You'll get to see something the people of Sky rarely do. Oh yes: Bland in a suit.

    I have to live the shame of that shirt down one day...

    Hi Dave

    I am looking forward to the show tonight...

    But, i have one pressing concern, is the horrific grey shirt coming out again???:)

    my entrance at WSOP if i was the worlds best player. Well i would sit down and get on with it. No need for an entrance, everyone should know who i was anyway.

    and if any1 forced me to make a redic entrance i wouldnt play the event

    Can't wait for the show :)

    Greg, first off, you CANNOT complain about another person's choice in shirt.

    For the entrance it would have to be to the music of Stan Bush 'You got to Touch.'  I would dress as Optimus Prime and charge through The Rio recreating the fight scene from Transformers:  The Movie.

    I was in a nice Itallian last night.  For dessert the waiter brought out tiramissu and a blind-folded horse.  I said "No.  Mascapone."  Incidentally I would ride into the final table on a donkey whilst being fanned with palm trees, to the tune of "I get all the girls" by Calvin Harris.

    I'd enter the WSOP arena dressed as a shark with a bevy of lovely young ladies dressed as assorted fishes to the theme tune from "Jaws".

    Good work Dave, not seen u much on here yet but ur doing good.......i am starting a challenge tonight whereby im depositing 100 quid and any winnings will donated to alder hey childrens hospital where my son was treated last year for a complex heart condition diagnosed at 5 weeks....he has recovered fully but needs follow ups and i cant thank them enough so any profits will be paid direct to them, im looking to get to £500...wish me luck

    If i were a famous poker player my entrance would be me dressed as braveheart enter with a small clan of 12 or so,music o flower of scotland and at end we all moon.Should put off everyone for the 1st level and  steal some chips.
