I suspect this is just a bad beat (deleted post if people agree) but should i have avoided the shove pre?

Thanks for the response. This is why i posted it, im guessing a shove here was the wrong way to play the hand. I was multi tabling at the time and hadnt actually played a hand on this table. wasnt 100% sure on weather to shove or just raise and in the end i decided if an A comes where am i and i would rather be a passenger to that. As it happened an ace did come but that may have saved me from the trip 8s.

Im guessing this was just a bad beat so can a mod delete this topic please
