any tournaments in southampton

do any 1 know if there is any tournaments in southampton or in casinos in southampton that i could go & watch or play,i dont want 2 play 4 much just what 2 c what its like can any help??

Hi Push,

The only Licensed Venue that I know of in Southampton laying Tournament Poker is The Grosvenor, in West Quay Road, it's in the Leisure World complex, where they have Cinemas, Eateries, Drinkeries, NightCluberies, & suchlike. (It's adjacent the Docks, you can see even see cargo vessels from the Leisure World, & a few minutes walk east takes you to the Isle of Wight Ferry Terminal, which is jolly exciting).

They used to have 2 or 3 big Poker Championships every year - The South of England Championships, & something at Bank Holidays, but I think it's dropped off the circuit now. 

But they still lay scheduled Tourneys as far as I know, & there's nothing to stop you just going & watching. take ID if you are not already a Member - Membership is free, but you MUST be a Member. You can become a Member there & then, at the door. I actually signed Ed Giddens in there one day, almost the first time I ever met him, 7 or 8 years ago.
