Tikay do you ask before you take photos or do you just snap away? lol Posted by BrownnDog
It depends.
All players in the WSOP know that those with Media Accreditation are entitled to take as many photos at the Table as they want.
For close up photos such as those of Kara, or Vicky Coren, yesterday, people who are personal friends, I always ask, it's just good manners.
For players like Mr Ivey, not so. There are ALWAYS a dozen photographers on his case, & it's just not do-able or sensible that we all queue up to seek his permission. It must be galling to be surrounded by gawpers non-stop, but it goes with the territory. But it is very important never to be intrusive, or get too close if the subject is playing a hand.
Go on ladies, keep it going and rake in them there chips. Just seen that Barney Boatman is among the early leaders for the start of Day 2 with 160k+ Great stuff. Also in WSOP related witterings just watching the 2005 Main Event FT, my word Raymer ran like BrownDogg... Posted by TommyD

People at the WSOP have this year and next year to win the Main Event cos when B'dog hits 21 he is assured to win it - the boy is god in disguise lololol
15 minutes to the 90 minute Dinner Break, Sue - I think we should call her Yoyo-Sue - has 33,000.
Mandy has aboyut 43,000.
Kara? 68,000.
I've got dozens of photos, but it may take a while to upload them, & during the dinner Break, we are due to interview Sue, &, fingers crossed, some more "faces". So bear with me please. That's bear, not bare.
This year's WSOP Main Event attracted 7,319 runners. First prize is a nadge below $9 million. If I played & survived Day One, I'd suggest chopping it up. Posted by Tikay10
Very wise; I'm sure that you'd get a lot of people taking you up on that offer.
In Response to Re: The KidGirlGy WSOP Live Update - Sue takes centre stage today. : Perfect. Well, one of you is anyway. ;-))) You can come back now - unless you're going to get more interiews with Kara. Posted by MereNovice
I came back & went away again. To get interviews with Sue, Andy Bloch, & Annette Oberstrad. They are being Attila-ized right now.
Shall I go away again?
I'm midway loading up some more photos on the Photo Blog, too. No rest for the wicked?
