I've picked out a few hands from the Semi-Final to take a look at; some beautiful, some brutal!

Hand 1 - Who's Trapping Who?

In only the second hand of their table with blinds at 10/20, JUJU2 found himself looking down at a pair of snowmen, 8s8c, and called from 3rd position. Everyone folded and micko checked his option with 9h6h.

The flop comes down 10h 6d 8h

Both players check their straight flush draw and middle set respectively.

The turn brings the 7s

micko
bets out 80 with his straight and JUJU2 flats

The river comes and what else but the 7h

Needless to say all the money goes in the middle and micko takes down a monster pot with his straight flush. Very unlucky JUJU2...

Hand 2 - Flop The World

With blinds at 30/60, we have 4 players to see the flop.

Js Jh 10h

mrsrabbit
leads out with a big bet and is called only by ImDrogba

The turn is a pretty safe-looking 3c

mrsrabbit
shoves the rest of her 1000 chips in the middle, and after some deliberation (no doubt taking some time to pinch himself) ImDrogba makes the call, tabling Jc Jd for flopped quads.

mrsrabbit shows A10os, drawing dead. The 10c drops on the river but of course it is too little too late for the floppy-eared one.

All that's left to say is good luck for Monday's Sky Poker World Cup Final! Remember - all those left are guaranteed to walk away with something. Make the winning 11 and the prizes start to heat up!

Dan
