Pre flop a few limped decided to find out where i was. Didnt really get answer. Flop an up and down and decide to find out where it is, still dont really get an answer. Turn a straight and bet strong get a call. River the nuts and again bet out with what i have left. Supprised at the call but it happens.

Raise bigger pre, bet more on flop, then that should allow us to shove the turn.

Also you need to think about the reasons why you're betting/raising, because it shouldn't be just to "find out where you are". Always bet for either value or to bluff (or in this case on the flop its a semi bluff as you have a very good draw).

i was happy.

Thanks for the feedback guys, just was a little shocked at the call to be honest. As a result i thought id played it wrong, however as you say im delighted.

raise bigger pre, rest was fine.
