Hi. just played my 5th Open. Still to better my 'short of the money' 74th on my first outing. Consolation, I hope, from the £300 guaranteed tourney at 10:20pm.

Good luck to all in the Redtooth Pub Poker tourney at The Park in Birkdale on Monday night.

Hope to enter the Open again next Sunday.

Good hunting to all left in tonight.

Hey guys just playing £200 Deepstack, currently 3rd out of 19, 37 started.

Cant wait to watch The Open once I'm out.

Would love to win the book so I can become a pro and never have to work.

I am now out after getting rivered yet again!!! Stack of 3000 blinds 100/200 I was small blind and utg limped and the next raised to 800, so with 1300 in the pot i had almost 2/1 with Kh8h so made the call in order to make a move on the flop. Flop comes Q82 rainbow so I push my other 2.2k in hoping for no queen or pp in the raisers hole, he calls ( although this is nearly all his stack) and has a measly A7 os and rivers his Ace!!! Not naming any names, but this happens to me a lot on internet poker but not as much live, and I play a lot of live poker (pub leagues/casino etc.), can you explain this? Also, how does a young player with no way of raising a bankroll high enough to play big games, break into the professional scene or enter big tourneys? Any tips will be useful thank you, Chris AKA Tripflopper.

My first ever sunday open, and I won a book for firing 3 bluffs in the first hand of the tournament,  woohoo! :)

Just for the presenters information (after being laughed at, lol!) I lost most of my chips with an AQs AIPF situation :(

Loving Sky Poker and the interaction. It brings a whole new dimension of fun to the online game.

Good luck to those still in.

Hi, Tripflopper again (Chris) just had 10k stack last 70 in velocity, called a short stack wiv A2 and walked into her AJ, then a few hands later the very same now bigger stack put me all in, so i called wiv my AJ and walked into her 22, on a flop of KQ9 i still couldn't outdraw her, my poker luck isn't in, it's a good job I had Nani 1st goalscorer 2-2 in the charity shield at 200/1, so not a bad days work as I had £2 on it, £350 profit on a sunday can't be bad eh??? and chelsea won easily on penalties to my delight, as I'm a City fan who lives with two Utd fans!!! Give me a shout out to cheer me up after my terrible luck on the tables 2nite!!! Chris.

Thanks for the advice, I'm currently jobless and looking but do have a bigger bankroll than 2p/4p games, due to the fact i found £60 on my skybet account last week and have turned it into £500 already! Anyway, I am normally the one arguing against AK and would prefer 22 to go heads up with! But I would still not fold them in that position on final table with a chance to be huge chip leader, just to ladder up maybe £100. Try to keep my messages shorter lol.

Well this was my first go on Sky Poker. I was one of the 20, from 35 new players to not be mentioned. Thought I might be when it was my table that had the first victim. Never mind.

I finished 353rd from 582. 6-players. Blinds: 150/300. UTG had KK, went all-in 1795, got called by AJ from BB. Maybe tonight I will have a bit more luck.

Is there any way to see the blind structure? If it's always the same can someone show me? Because the big jumps were hard to get used too.
