May be a silly question but if we registered with the casino at last year's SPT - do we need photo ID again or will the club membership from last year suffice?
  • edited July 2010

can you double the starting stack ? :D

It's a structure designed to complete the tournament in one day, by about midnight, as with all the other legs.

i play live in aspers swansea every week!!!! tuesday in aspers has a 10k chip start and 30 min blinds... (which include a few levels you have missed out)

    8pm start (not 2)
and it is still finished by about 2 am

granted it only has bout 70 runners not 125 but i dont think that would effect it that much!!!

i know you are just doing what you think is best, but as it is a £110 buy in event i was hoping that there would be a bit of value in it and poker skill would come through instead of all in of fold by the end of level 5

how many qualify to the final in dtd?? i know it was 10 last year (i came 13th)

the money is good but my main aim is to qualify for dtd

Its top 3 get a seat this year bigflop

I agreed with your comments about the structure, but I found the structure from last year and only 1 level is missing (75/150) Last years tourney seemed to have quite alot of play and would of been good to just use the same structure again. Oh well its only 1 level, we will just need to be a bit busier this time.

    Cya at the weekend.

    2.05pm  ( Mr Orford down to 500 chips )
    2.30pm  50-100
2.31pm  (  Mr Orford starts the 1st SnG after his exit )

This will be the first SPT leg I've been too and while I'm obviously intending to walk off with 1st place the more likely scenario is an entirely different outcome (!)...which leads me to asking this queston, will there be any SNG tournaments people who have been knocked out can enter and if so, how much do they usually cost?

Am looking forward to meeting everyone and putting faces to people's 'names'!!

    See you all on Saturday.

SNGs typically begin when the presenters playing the SPT get knocked out, usually 5pm onwards

£10, £20 or buy ins to suit those playing

Omaha masterclass during the day too that people can listen to or participate in

and maybe some of my fun SNGs later, where anything is possible!
