sky fix the dish

edited July 2010 in The Shed
I had a bit of an accident yesterday and took the dish clean-off the wall by mistake. Thank God it has been fixed now, so I can watch the "Club" and the Darts tonight.

    ahhh the darts.

Today is meant to be my playing day, after a day of rest on sunday. Normally ive been on the beer for 3, or 4 hours already, and grinding at nl30. About now id be looking in the tourny lobby, see if theres owt i wanna play tonight or stick to cash.

Ijust havent got started at all today, no beer and not even posted a big blind.

I decided half an hour ago im not gonna bother, got mi lappy n gone upstairs to lie on the bed and watch cricket.

Then I see a post about the darts tonight, and immediately, Im thinking, darts + poker + 8 cans and see where I am at midnight, as to wether I turn that 8 into 15 and a 5am finish.

Im so easily led, It's actually unbelievable.

    FFS

p.s - nice work in the primo last night, seen the repeat, handy cash!

Nice to see a few fellow darts fans on here. So, who do you reckon will come 2nd? ;)

Locals #2 and #3 are already out - Andy Hamilton & Adrian Lewis. Obviously local #1 will win (Barry fixes it so he always does).

When is Adrian Lewis actually gonna do something!!

He's gotta be the 2nd best player in the world on his day.

He just doesnt have enough days!!!!!

Fed up of losing money on him xpecting him to come good...

Yeah I know. Hamilton's a very solid player too. I used to play pool with him way back before he was famous for darts. His family were regulars in our pub in Kidsgrove (Stoke-on-Trent). Great seeing him do well on the tele now!

Would it be terribly rude to stop listening to you and go and speak to somebody else?

That's the one. We were there for a couple of years I think - left in about Oct 1991 if I remember correctly. My step-dad at the time ran it - big tall Scottish fella called Dave - and my mum Geraldine.

Mr Miyagi was probably the trouble-maker. He's got trouble written all over him.

Wakey wakey, Dohey - the darts coverage has just started :-) Million time champion Phil is unleashed tonight.

My mate's girlfriend, it had been bugging me for ages where I'd seen her before and couldn't decide if it was just me being mad or what. Turned on the tele last night and there she was lol. She's occasionally one of the walk-on model girlies lol Obviously seen her during previous televised tournaments! DOH!
